Is this charming, or what?

I keep going back to check the price - our 1 storey sold for more than that just 5 months ago in that neighborhood..................
I'm in love - and you have no idea - really none at all - how badly I WANNA live in this week's feature!
Have a wonderful Wednesday one and all - I'm going to go sulk in the pool - my saving grace and the only thing about this place that helps me keep my head above water ( literally LOL ) We're having an extreme heat wave here in Montreal - well over a hundred degrees with the humidity. Weather warnings every 10 minutes on t.v. - and I. WILL. NOT. COMPLAIN. OUT. LOUD. because last winter was freezing - but really is it so much to ask for a little happy medium here? We usually get heat waves towards the middle of July - it seems to be getting a little earlier every year.
Does that count as complaining? Oh to hell with it - I AM COMPLAINING - it's unbearable lol.

Heat conditions - afternoon to late evening.
Maximum temperatures of at least 30 degrees and high humidity levels are expected over Southwestern Quebec for the rest of the afternoon and early this evening. In these areas, humidex values will exceed 40. Overnight lows slightly above the 20-degree mark will offer little relief.
While extreme heat can put everyone at risk from heat illnesses, health risks are greatest for - older adults - infants and young children - people with chronic illnesses such as breathing difficulties, heart conditions or psychiatric illnesses - people who work in the heat - people who exercise in the heat - people without access to air conditioning and - homeless people.
Heat illnesses include heat stroke, heat exhaustion, heat fainting, heat edema (swelling of hands, feet and ankles), heat rash and heat cramps (muscle cramps).
Drink plenty of liquids especially water before you feel thirsty to decrease your risk of dehydration. Thirst is not a good indicator of dehydration.
Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please continue to monitor your local media or Weatheradio for further updates. If you would like to report severe weather, you can call 1-800-361-0233 or send an email to tempsviolent.quebec@ec.gc.ca. You may also tweet reports of severe weather to #meteoqc.

what an amazing home, that one bathroom looks as big as my whole apartment!!! That sounds very hot temps, lots of pool time for you!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was cute that in the related posts link at the bottom of this one was the IWLT in which you showcased your current home, pre-ownership. It was as if your current house was pleading "Hey! Love meeeeee!"
ReplyDeleteWe have not reached temps anywhere near yours yet - not looking forward to it.
Wow Wow Wow!!!!! What a gorgeous place. The price is so amazing. Maybe it is calling to you. Just sayin!!!

I love what they've done with the inside of this old home. It's really beautiful and classy looking however, it looks like the outside could use some work and landscaping. Isn't it hot?? It's the same temperature here as you have but at least we are in the country where it feels cooler and there's a lovely breeze. I've got the blinds and windows closed and a fan blowing on me. Not budging an inch! Stay cool.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I hear you.... can you sell now, as is, and return to where you wish you were. The love/hate struggle continues here too! I agree, this house is at a great price, move in, unpack, take a bubble bath. No icky, dirty, yucky bad to rip, tear, clean, replace, pay for. Be done with it. Why don't you get a valuation done on your place, just to see. Then you know if you have to dig in and finish, or say bye, bye. xo Patty
ReplyDeleteI love this showcase..Hit the pool....and at night just skinny dip.....Sheryl..
ReplyDeleteLove the floors, the stairs, heck, the whole house.
ReplyDeleteI keep telling you that a visit to our little beach would be good for you.
Beautiful! Stay cool Suzan!
ReplyDeleteWhat a house! Some of the renovations don't thrill me but it is move in ready for sure! We have been experiencing some of that heat. I had to cave in an turn on the air conditioner the other night. Power company is thrilled with the heat! Thankfully a cold front just moved through so it will be cooler for the next few days...then back to hot and muggy. I am just thankful that we got through June before it got miserable!!
ReplyDeleteThe house is gorgeous. I think if I moved I would have to do over the do overs.
ReplyDeleteHouse is stunning!
ReplyDeleteWishing you cooler weather
xx
