And purchased this off her
Well...................while I was there I also purchased this !
The shelves were created out of MDF - such a great idea !
Whenever we get the downstairs bathroom renovated ( next year - next year - next year - please let it be no later than next year ! ) this will be installed on one of the walls to hold perfume.............the depth is enough to fit between studs so that it would be flush...............for now I scrambled around filling it with things for the post.
Here's the back of it
We're off to see Chris de Burgh this evening - should I wear something red?
Hope you all have a wonderful day everyone !

Well, aren't you clever!
ReplyDeleteLove your framed shelf unit
ReplyDeleteHave an enjoyable evening
Hi there Suzan! I love the Framed Shelves! C'est tres chic! Lovely idea to put them in your soon to be remodeled bathroom! I love the idea of putting perfume bottles on the shelves. I don't remember who Chris DeBurgh is, maybe I missed your blog on her or forgot. Is that who you bought the framed wall unit/shelves and cabinet from--the lady who has all of the marvelous things in her house?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Ethel/Laura/Hazel
Sorry Suzan, I do know who Chris De Burgh, and YES, you should wear a red dress! I love that song! I am getting old and have "senior moments"! Google had to jog my memory! I hope that you really enjoyed the concert! Did you take any furniture with you to paint during his performance? I wouldn't put it past you! I'd like to hear the he said, she said on that!
DeleteYou should feel sorry for your side-kick's memory loss, Lucy!
Sheepishly,
Ethel, or is it Laura?....Hazel?...or am I Lucy...???
this is sooo pretty and such a great idea...it will look so cool in your bath.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a great idea! Looks so much better the way you refinished it (everything does). Had to look up who Chris DeBurgh was ;) Did you decide to be the Lady in Red?
ReplyDeleteWho is C de B ? and why should you wear red ? I saw his shelf idea years ago at a craft fair and have been wanting to make one.... not done yet. But I'm still thinking about it ! Have fun out!!
ReplyDeleteHope the concert was great. I saw Chris years ago and he certainly owned the stage!
ReplyDeleteLove your shelf/frame, looks awesome, you bought it that way with shelves in it? Been wanting my hubs to do what with a nice sized frame. We have a clock case front would love hubs to make into shelves but not holding my breath, it will get done when he feels like doing it, (if ever). He asked me if I didn't have enuf shelves, why did I want clock face made into shelves? What difference does it make? grrrrr.
ReplyDeleteHope concert was wonderful, did you wear a red dress? Don't know what this is all about but what difference does it make if that is what's going on in your life. Enuf craziness huh? Glad you painted frame white and show off frame details, great look.
Have to go help hub with supper, he's been on hold with IRS for hours. What pain in butt is that? They closed our local office so only way to talk to somebody is on phone. I hate IRS, they have way too much power in our country, it's bull.
Happy week
Thanks so much - yes I DID buy it already done !
DeleteThe girl I bought it from is crazy talented ( although her brother did the shelves )
Tax troubles are the worst ..............actually any contact with the government at all is the worst - I was on the phone 45 minutes the other day listening to musak..............good luck !!!
Hope you have a happy week too !
xox
