LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
John says - There's too many lights - are you nuts?
John says - I can't imagine what the electric bill is going to be
John says - I need sunglasses to watch t.v.
John says - we have more lights IN the house than everyone else combined has OUTSIDE their houses !
Suzan says - Why don't you just go Bah Humbug in the den - watch t.v. or something?
John says - I would but it looks like a discotheque in there !
I don't think John has ever stepped in a discotheque in his life.
I on the other hand basically lived in them in the 70's
And they did NOT look like this !
Some people live with monkeys on their backs -
I live with one of these one mine
Have a wonderful day everyone !
Today's my last " shopping " run
Hugs

Your home looks beautiful as I knew it would. Men just don't appreciate the finer things which include glitter. Love the moose in the globe. Have fun shopping and I wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and a fabulous year ahead. Hope Santa spoils you all...even John. Hugs, Deb and her crew.

You can never have too many lights at Christmas! Your home looks so pretty Suzan. I did a last run to town yesterday and hubby and I may go tomorrow or the 24th just for fun. In case I don't get back here I wish you and John and your family a wonderful Christmas! Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteI am lucky that my Joe is as much INTO Christmas as I am! Poor John needs to relax and enjoy this!!! Whishing you and your family a merry and blessed and HAPPY Christmas!!! (Do you hear me John:):):)
ReplyDeleteit's all so pretty!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks just gorgeous Suzan! I hope you and Mr. Grinch...I mean John, have a lovely Christmas! Enjoy that precious new grandbaby's first Christmas! Love and Hugs, Vicky
ReplyDeleteHa ha once again you brought a smile to my face! I think your house looks lovely with all those lights! You can never have too many twinkly lights or candles in my opinion - warm and cozy all the way. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job of decorating and I love the lights. You don't have near the lights that some people have up compared around here; me included. You're putting yours all up and I'm already in the process ng some of my decorations down already being we already had our family Christmas gathering and have been invited out on Christmas day so many of my decorations have already been boxed up and put away; put then my house has been decorated since the middle of October.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and John and the rest of your family a Very Merry Christmas.
Picturing John in a disco is cracking me up even more than his grumbling about all the lights. After they're taken down, I give him 2 days before he's complaining that he misses them.
ReplyDeleteMore lights!! More lights!! The one super advantage to Christmas and all the lights is that I can go to the bathroom at night without turning on a single light or feeling my way!! It's so pretty that I meander through my house and admire everything. We have floor to ceiling windows, 24 on this level and I have strung those 100 light tiny led strings from Dollar General around all the windows(well, up, across and down every two) and wow, is it pretty!! I leave them up for at least a month after Christmas. Merry Christmas!!!!!

Ha! It's me again! Yours is the Grinch and mine is Mr.Scrooge! Ha! You spend tooo much money! Ha! Oh well! The house looks beautiful right! Anyway! We know how the story ends for both characters sooo we will keep our wonderful Christmas guys ! They love it in the end! He loves color lights! I love white! I put separate clickers on the large tree! I just click the color off when I've had enough! Ha! All my others trees are white lights so I had to give him something! LOL ! Busy baking and. Wrapping! Just finished my last grocery shopping! Whew! Enough already! Ho!Ho!Ho! Bye,my friend! Cindy
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Cindy - I do the same thing with the lights - clear and color on different clickers !The little ones used to think I was a magician - I'd have the clicker under my foot and tell them to tell me which one they liked and I'd click - they'd look at in amazement LOL !
DeleteJohn's a combo of scrooge and grinch - but in the end? He LOVED all of it !!!
XOXO

ReplyDeleteLOL, here is where they differ....my hubby is the one that blows the circuits. One of the reasons I no longer have power to my kilns...is he stole the circuit for all the outlets outside for----Christmas Lights. He just looks at me...and says---well it's 2k$$ if you want to hook up your kilns again.
ReplyDeleteLove your post...pretty and hardly any lights at all...as far as I'm concerned. hope you had a Merry Christmas, I'm trying to catch up!..Sandi
