ReplyDeleteLove them! They look oh so much better now, just beautiful! - Susan
ReplyDeleteLeave it to you to make a song out of a makeover! It really is very lovely! I would have preferred you left me with something rockin on a Monday!
ReplyDeleteThis came out beautiful...but now I'm thinking of panel station wagons and split level Brady Bunch homes (thanks for the song). :)
ReplyDeleteI love the black showing through, it's perfect.
Lovely, Suzan!! And thanks for the Brady song that will be running through my mind until something else equally as annoying comes to take its place. lol xoxo
ReplyDeleteBee.Yoo.Tee.Full.
ReplyDeleteHate that song Suzan!! lol. But your makeover is lovely. What a great graphic. Can't wait to see the pink loveliness.
ReplyDeleteHa Suzan thanks for the trip back down Brady Bunch Lane!!!! Now I will have that song in my head all day!!!!! Love the trio so pretty. That graphic is marvelous darling!!!
ReplyDeleteKris
I love these! My color scheme! Funny, we watched the Brady Bunch the other day... yep, we're lame like that. I'm always checking out the vintage decor. Hopefully orange kitchen cabinets will never come back in style.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis will be in my head for the rest of my afternoon. I loved the Brady Bunch, sorry to say but I watched it all the time. These pieces are abosolutely stunning. I love, love them!!
ReplyDeleteCynthia
Oh so beautiful! And, this song I don't mind running through my head...I always loved the show. I just love these pieces!!!
ReplyDeleteDebbie :)
Thanks for the tip on getting the darkened molding, Suzan. I always wondered how everyone did it without using a dark wash which darkens it too much IMHO.
ReplyDeleteAs for the song.....thank you, I needed something to go through my head at 3 AM. lol
not sure if everyone else does that lol - it's a lazy way for sure -

Dam you.
ReplyDeleteBliss
You were like the fairy godmother giving them beautiful gowns for the bal... Hope they'll meet their Prince Charming... Can you tell I've been studying thousand of versions of Cinderella all week???
ReplyDeleteYou just knock it out of the freakin' park EVERY time!!! That piece was so, "I would never have that in my house" and became, "Holy poo, I want that and will run over anyone in my way!" And just to return the favor...Her name was Lola...she was a showgirl...

Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream...
ReplyDeletethere. That ought to do it.
Thankfully the picture will still stick with me. What a lovely little family. So fun to see little ones dressed like mom.

oh MY goodness look at the before....
ReplyDelete:)
SOMETIMES I see posts where I think that people are crazy and should have had respect for the old wood and left it alone
BUT NOT THIS TIME LOL! :)
Marsha, Marsha, Marsha - what have you done? Since there is a mother and TWO girls, I bet Jan, the middle child, was left out again! Now you must find a third piece to refinish as beautifully as these three.
ReplyDeleteThe brady bunch was my first thought when i saw your blog title pop up in my inbox!
ReplyDeleteOh I love those Frenchy pieces! So pretty!
