I wanted to shout with you. What an amazing house and fun decor. Our neighbors sold their beach house in California at the top of the market and were able to buy 2 houses in Maine. They chose Maine because his sister was there, but they didn't know about mosquitos in the summer. They lived on a lake and his whole body swelled up. They are now back living in Carmel, California.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the house. I look forward to another one next week.
If I married a very rich man or if I won the lottery, THIS is the kind of house I would be looking for. Exactly. The only thing that would make it more perfect if it were overlooking the Puget Sound.
ReplyDeleteHey! Like the clean, new look. Very classy. So very you and me!! :)
Uma casa maravilhosamente colorida, também gostaria de viver nela.
ReplyDeleteTenha um ótimo início de ano, que ele seja repleto de sucesso e felicidades.
Thanks so much -
DeleteHappy New Year to you!

Looks like a fun place to rent for a week...
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time concentrating on this one. There was an unexplained impulse to get on the floor and do The Worm.
I'm singing it...
ReplyDeleteI like that they weren't afraid to use color, even the pink works.
I would spend a week here and think I would surely want to shout... The pink is a little over the top for me but would be fun for a week.... Love the new look,of your blog.....
ReplyDeleteWe have friends that live in Montreal and are dying to have us up to visit. We plan to stay a few days at Mont Tremblant. Being from south Texas, I'm not sure how many articles of clothing I have to survive that kind of cold! They would love to move here, and I always say WHY??? Montreal is so beautiful! They are so tired of the cold and snow. I'm so tired of the heat and humidity! I'm looking forward to this series. I'd need loads of paint to live in this house, too...but it's got great bones!
ReplyDeleteNow, see...I am LOVING those colors!!!!!! I'm not sure I would've actually used all of 'em, but, OMG, you gotta love a person who's loves color & isn't afraid to use it!!!! Have I told you how much I LOVE color????!! And while I can admire all those all-white rooms...I don't think I'd ever really want to have one! More color, please!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors too - maybe just not using them all at one time lol
Deleteregardless, I love absolutely everything about that house - and could see myself contentedly walking along the beach or picking wild flowers -
Why do I have a large floppy hat on in this fantasy?

It's actually Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, not Maine. Regardless, they're both wonderful states that I adore visiting, and that is one CUTE house.
ReplyDeleteOf course! It didn't sound right to me lol - going to fix that now -thanks Betsy!
DeleteOh Yes... That's a happy House with all those vibrant colours... I'd love it especially if I lived in a warmer climate...where the use of bright colour is part of feel good living...I'm always guilty of using loud colours...and that house can certainly handle the passionate that come along with it...Enjoyable post...happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThanks Zaa!
DeleteHappy New Year to you too!
