ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you too Suzan, it's my first Mother's Day as an empty nester since my youngest moved to BC a couple of weeks ago, so I'm feeling a little sorry for myself :( , but I know I will be fine, all of my kids are healthy and happy and that is what we strive for isn't it.

Happy Mother's Day to you! I loved the pictures. Can you believe none of my cats brought me anything? Though I feed them, provide shelter, cuddle, hold their paws... Maybe they are waiting for French Mother's Day, which is later. How come you never said you used to be one of Charlie's angels? Was it a secret mission?

ReplyDeleteOh Carolyn - this journey we're on is so filled with peaks and valleys - of course you're not alone - been there - done that.
DeleteAt the moment our relationships are at peaks - but I went through my years, trust me.
Mothers and daughters can be volatile at time - with expectations and disappointments ( even though we're never supposed to say that ) I tend to go overboard because my own Mother and I have an extremely rocky relationship.
At the end of the day - we're all fallible - Mothers and Daughters alike - if she knows you love her ( with all your heart ) then the rest of it will fall by the wayside ( eventually ),

ReplyDeleteHappy belated Mother's Day. I sent you a private email but it must of got lost in your 100's of responses. My daughter is on her way to Montreal tonight from NY. So I will be taking 2 days off with her so we can play. My boys took me to brunch and helped put up my GAZEBO. A Mother's Day gift after I lost my old one to old man winter. So I am off the grid for 2 days :)). What a sweet picture of you and your precious children.
