Wooden Rocking Horses...............

I've painted quite a few of them..................and for some reason can't find any posts on them at all !

Anyway - it's time to paint another one

I found this little beauty and knew I had to have it for Evan - because every nursery should have one don't you think?

I'm in charge of the bedroom furniture !!!

So of course it'll be painted to match

Graphite and Paris grey I'm thinking

Isn't it the cutest little thing?

I found this one on Pinterest -

PINTEREST

Which makes me even more excited to pick it up today and get started !

This is the view from my bedroom window this morning - it's almost all we can see - and if that's not the start to a wonderful painting day - well then I'm not sure what is !

Have a wonderful one !
Much love,
Me

  2. I'm sure it will be adorable when painted by you! I bought a really nice wood pattern for making my own rocking horse, which I hope to do once my shop is set up.

  6. Sweet little horse and a beautiful blooming tree to start the day. The old maple has popped with bright lime green flowers which will be the spinning keys in fall. A Graphite and Paris Grey horse sounds great, will it be dappled? xo Patty

  11. Oh my gosh! I love the view of your tree. Wowzer!
I can't wait to see your darling rocking horse all done. I'd love to find one to paint. I had a little horse that rolled. How I loved it. Too bad it was plastic and not wood. It didn't survive.
