Truly lovely home and area. Was a little disappointed in the patio. Thought surely it would be spectacular for that much money. There was a movie called Crossing Delancey that was real good. Must've been before the urban renewal!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous house but I think I'd be suffocating all year around living there. I wonder what they did with all the snow from last weekend's storm on that patio and in the back yard and the front area where you have to go downstairs to the entrance. What would one do with it?? At least it doesn't snow that much more than once every 100 years. Haha. I wonder if the basement leaks. ;)

ReplyDeleteThe blue tile in the bathroom was luscious! I love the facade, too, and the houses next to it. The windows are to die for! We had some friends who had a row house in Baltimore. It was a little rough, but it was a fun house.
ReplyDeleteIf I ever won the lottery (which I never will because I don't buy tickets) I would buy an apartment in all my favorite cities and just traveled around to them. I'd buy one in Montreal too (even though I've never been there) just so we could visit.

Nope, not for me. I need lots of space around me and that dinky little patio just ain't going to cut it. I guess I'm not much of a city girl. Fun to visit but don't wanna live there. (But it's ok if you do!) :-)

Wow... that's a lotta money!! I do like most of it, but I gotta say, I sure hope that's not the master bathroom. For over 8 million, I'd be wanting a luxury bathroom, that's for sure. Thanks so much for sharing this, it's fun to see how other people live... hahaha, (very different from me... in our 100 year old Midwest home, and our Maine coast cottage...)
