A Clock Makeover!

Good morning everyone !

Someone " threw " this in with a piece of furniture I bought once...............last year
A perfectly fine ( in perfectly fine working order ) clock

Except it was way too woody for me................here it is all shabbified.

ANNIE SLOAN CHALK PAINT, PURE WHITE, DISTRESSED

And that's all I have " time " for today -
We hit another snafu in the mud room ...............need to put on my thinking cap and step away from the computer for a little bit.

Plus every time I have a few minutes to spare I run back to mini secretariat
Whose sitting patiently on the kitchen table waiting to be finished

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint -
Pure white on body
Graphite around face

Hope you all have a wonderful day !
Hugs,
Me

  2. It looks great! I have a couple of clocks I picked up at the thrift store that I've been meaning to do this with and this is the inspiration to get my butt in gear.

  7. Hi Suzan~!
I hope the "snafu" in the mud room smooths out easily and quickly.
The clock is great! Love "Now" ... it's always now. :))) Point of Power
is always Now. Love it and love the re-do.

  8. Wow- I would have sworn that paint was pale aqua! It turned out great though. Looks like a completely different clock (which I assume was the idea).
Good luck on that d**n mudroom! Wish I could help you. Might be easier to put a new subfloor in --1/8" liner plywood? xo Diana

  9. A snafu in a DIY project is bound to be expensive. That is one cute clock.

  10. Your clock took on a "whole 'nother" look! It looks so great all shabbified! I certainly could use a clock like that to keep me on track instead of wandering off to follow some attractive distraction--the quote on the face is spot on! Looking forward to seeing both the mudroom and Secretariat.

  15. Love it! I'm a sucker for anything turquoise and I love the hue you picked behind the clock face. The clock "numbers" crack me up. What a fun freebie.
