Good morning everyone !
Someone " threw " this in with a piece of furniture I bought once...............last year
A perfectly fine ( in perfectly fine working order ) clock
Except it was way too woody for me................here it is all shabbified.
And that's all I have " time " for today -
We hit another snafu in the mud room ...............need to put on my thinking cap and step away from the computer for a little bit.
Plus every time I have a few minutes to spare I run back to mini secretariat
Whose sitting patiently on the kitchen table waiting to be finished
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint -
Pure white on body
Graphite around face
Hope you all have a wonderful day !
Hugs,
Me

Wow! What a transformation. I love your clock!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I have a couple of clocks I picked up at the thrift store that I've been meaning to do this with and this is the inspiration to get my butt in gear.
ReplyDeleteLooks good - who threw it away? John?
ReplyDeleteHave a good one.
Mary
I'm glad you made over the clock as it looks a whole lot sweeter now than before! Good luck with the mud room today.
ReplyDeleteCute clock...especially with the transformation. Secretariat is looking good too! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks so much better all shabbified! Stupid mudroom!! Cooperate with my friend Suzan! (hope that helped!)
ReplyDeleteSo jealous of your mini Secretariat! I want one. or something similar! LOL
hugs,
Cecilia
Hi Suzan~!
ReplyDeleteI hope the "snafu" in the mud room smooths out easily and quickly.
The clock is great! Love "Now" ... it's always now. :))) Point of Power
is always Now. Love it and love the re-do.
Peace, love and paint, Christina
Wow- I would have sworn that paint was pale aqua! It turned out great though. Looks like a completely different clock (which I assume was the idea).
ReplyDeleteGood luck on that d**n mudroom! Wish I could help you. Might be easier to put a new subfloor in --1/8" liner plywood? xo Diana
A snafu in a DIY project is bound to be expensive. That is one cute clock.
ReplyDeleteYour clock took on a "whole 'nother" look! It looks so great all shabbified! I certainly could use a clock like that to keep me on track instead of wandering off to follow some attractive distraction--the quote on the face is spot on! Looking forward to seeing both the mudroom and Secretariat.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Ruth Anne !
DeleteSecretariat is almost done -
The mud room? Not so much LOL
xoxo
Much better now that it's un-woodified. Thanks, Suzan for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.
ReplyDeleteyour makeovers are always wonderful and this one especially. How are you always so lucky to not have fails?
ReplyDeleteSuzan,
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty. Great face lift for your clock. You rocked it out on this clock. So beautiful.
Kris
That's quite the transformation. Good job Suzan!
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much !

Love it! I'm a sucker for anything turquoise and I love the hue you picked behind the clock face. The clock "numbers" crack me up. What a fun freebie.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what a little paint can do!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great in white and I love the whimsical "nows" instead of the numbers!
ReplyDeleteYour clock looks amazing!! I just got some white chalk paint to repaint some things. This will be my first time using chalk paint...hope it is easy to work with.
ReplyDelete~Cindy
This is such a cool makeover, shabbilicious! White paint makes all things new.
ReplyDeleteLove words!
Hugs,
Patti
Super cute. It's a great freebie.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Does that ever look better :) Fantastic "After" for sure!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Danielle !
