And the below piece - It's not my choice - at all - but does anyone else see it in RED?
I don't know what the entire room looks like - but with what I can make out of those creamy couches I can so envision a splash of red to offset it !
Red - with dark wax to " antique " it................change out the knobs.
The below living room is just gorgeous - and that red dresser in it is perfection !

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing these are pieces for others ? I love that first one. Back before the furniture-painting craze got started my hubby's aunt had painted a chest in her house red. That woman was a paint-a-holic! It looked great. I couldn't imagine it in my house at the time, but now that I'm seeing so many pieces in red, I'm lovin' it!

ReplyDeleteHi, Suzan! I like the red cabinet idea. Is it for your house? Looks like you will be busy! Where do you find all of these neat pieces? On Craigslist? I have been looking for a secretary desk with hutch for about a year, but have not been able to find one that can be shipped to me without breaking the bank. I have not been able to find any locally on Craigslist. There are some on Etsy and Ebay but all too far away. The shipping is the problem if they are far away!
