Heart to Heart - a Giveaway !

I really do !
And with Valentine's day right around the corner
I've ordered this to show my appreciation

Hey it's not only for lovers, you know !

____________________________________________________________________________________________

And what would a give away from me be without a little something Paris related?
So I also ordered this small ornament - ( one for me and one for one of you actually  )

I told John I ordered the heart for him for Valentine's day

John laughs - No you didn't
Suzan says - I most certainly did
John says - You ordered it for yourself
Suzan says - I ORDERED IT FOR YOU !!!!!!!!!!!
John says - Well I'm going to give it to you for Valentine's day
Suzan says - Oh no you don't - you have to come up with something on your own for me
John says - I already did
Suzan says - What?
John says - That Paris Heart, don't you like it?

Now where do I put it ?

On a door knob?

On the ladder in the living room?

On a dresser?

From the plate rack?

On the kitchen door that I used for storage?

John says - What ARE you doing, running around with that heart?
Suzan says - Trying to decide where I like it best
John says - Just put it anywhere - you're not trying to solve world peace or anything
John says - No matter where it ends up - it'll only be for a day before you change it anyway

Just ignore him.
So the question is

Where would YOU put it ?
The ornament I mean - since I'm assuming you'd put the necklace on your neck and the earrings on your ears ( if you have other plans for them I'd love to hear about that too lol )
Hey you could hang the necklace from a door - and the Paris Map Heart from your neck !!!

Suzan says - I'm giving one away to one of my readers
John says - Well I think we're BOTH giving it away

So - Good luck everyone from the both of us  !!!
( I haven't received the jewellery yet - so it's open until I do ! )

I really DO heart you all
Hugs,
Me
( and the Brit )

I'm forbidden to post pics of John - absolutely F.O.R.B.I.D.D.E.N. - but this is 6 years old and very blurry
( a pic taken of a pic) so a terrible one at that - it looks like John's missing a tooth but I promise he had all of them in this photo - unlike the time last summer when a cap broke off and we were meeting a fellow blogger for the first time LOL !!! )
Just me 'n my guy !  ( doesn't he look like a typical British school boy? )
I think I'm going back to that hair now that I see this pic - wish I could go back to a smooth wrinkle free face as easily !

I'll be sharing here !

  1. OK, so I haven't had my coffee yet, and I'm still recovering from the news that Jon Stewart is leaving the Daily Show. I assume you mean where would we put it in OUR homes, LOL. I would put it on the door knob to my little red and white toile bathroom, ooh la la! But I know I would move it around because it is too cute to stay in one place.

  2. Happy Valentine's day to you and your guy. :-) I have an old wardrobe that we turned into a china cabinet, and the heart would look so pretty dangling from that old key. Thanks for hosting such a sweet giveaway!

  13. You look like a sweet couple. Your hair really does look good in that pic. I love a British accent - do you ever get tired of hearing it since you hear it all the time? I would hang the Paris heart on my china hutch knob where everyone could see it in the dining room, since everyone eats! Toodles!

    1. It's a Yorkshire accent ( but not as posh as Downton Abbey LOL ) !!! I don' t really hear it anymore - except for the odd word here and there - he's been here almost 40 years so it's not as strong
      Good luck Sharon !!!

  14. What a sweet giveaway! I love sparkly jewellery. And the red heart is cute. If I should win it I would hang it on the knob of the china cupboard door. A sweet photo of you and John, and yes, he does look like a rosy cheeked English school boy. lol You look beautiful! I like your hair. xx Pam

  15. Love the picture of the two of you. Such a great looking couple & so nice of you both to have this sweet valentine giveaway. In my home, the Paris heart would have to hang out in the living area as that's where I'm at the most. In your house, I'd choose the ladder or one of your branches...just to see what John had to say about it next. Hmmm. There's that checkerboard 'curtain', over there too... lol (Love the hairstyle..just right for warmer weather)

  17. Love the picture of you and fuzzy John. So many places I would hang the Paris heart, my old wardrobe cupboard, one of the beams, our 230 yr old corner cupboard or the same age dish cupboard. But it would be where I could see it daily! Love the pendant, I bought my sister and friend one each 3 yrs ago. xo Patty

  18. Well, I am just like you! I would be moving it around all the time! A memory, a moment in time, that is what I love most about the hearts you are offering! I love little things, trinkets or such, that when I hold them they bring a flood of heart felt moments that leave me teary eyed in a happy thought! I especially am drawn to the heart from Paris! I have been to Paris you know! Paris, Tennessee that is! I remember sitting on the lawn holding my sister's hand (she is 68 and I am 67!) watching the parade go by with all the little kids from town marching along the parade route, celebrating Paris, Tennessee Annual Fish Fry, the Biggest Fish Fry in all the United States!!! I would hang it off the Angel art work I got on that very day! Love the memory......thanks for supplying the moment! Hugs! Nanny

  25. Suzan, thanks for the photo! I don't want to win, I just want to tell you how much the header on your blog means to me: "To love what you do you must do what you love." This rings through my head often and I really, REALLY LIKE IT!! Following that, I am in the throws of packing and moving back to Florida from Ohio. Thank you for your humor, joy and fun! My love to both you and John. :))) ~ Christina

  28. I would probably hang the heart in the bathroom, so it is the first thing we see every morning, or, if you're like me, several times during the night! I love it. Maybe you should hang yours on that table clo...errr...curtain in the kitchen! Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  29. What awesome giveaway Suzan! I would incorporate it into the DIY decor on the guest book table at my daughter's wedding next summer. Then it would find it's way all over our humble abode, starting in the living room where red is the accent color. You should drive John crazy by moving it to a new location every day for a round of "Where's The Heart".

  33. I thought I'd seen pics of John before, but he doesn't look like what I pictured! Nice to put a toothless face with all those conversations. :P

She and her husband (and their new baby) just moved into their first new home and it would look fabulous there! Besides, it would remind them all how much I love them!

I love your conversations with John, and what a treat to be able to visualize him and you whilst you jib and jab at each other. Thanks so much for the picture. Would love to win just so I could have bragging rights you know. Have a lovely day, stay warm!
