TOO MUCH ON MY PLATE?

Well here we go - the newest obsession is going to be this Pewter paint from Modern Masters ( as I predicted yesterday )

I have 8 wood charger plates - and believe it or not I really did love them in the deep dark brown color they were originally ( 8 years ago ) they looked great against a white table cloth.  But after 8 years they were looking horribly dingy - and so they've been mostly hidden away in the buffet.............

until tonight........................
when I pulled out my Modern Masters paints
ahhh - much better

less is more?
what a bore
More!
I want More I tell ya!

I've only done one of them - but I'll number all of them 1 through 8

John says - ARE YOU PAINTING THE DAMN DISHES NOW?
John says - WE CAN'T EAT OFF DISHES YOU PAINT FOR GOD'S SAKES
Suzan says - They're not our dishes - they're only charger plates
John says - I'm getting sick to death of all of this - really - why don't you join a group or something
John says - You need to get your mind off paint
Suzan says - I was thinking of taking a painting class actually.......................

Protection:  Polyurethane Water Base Satin ( not applied yet in photos )
And this is as true to the color as I can get it
