A story of deeply devout Christians parents of a Gay son.
For anyone out there who is struggling with Gay Marriage - please please please
take a moment to listen to the parents of a Gay son - who used their faith to try
to " heal " him - and once he was gone - used their faith to understand.
No matter which side of the fence you sit on - one fact stands out above all else - Life is short - sometimes it's far far too short - some lives are filled with grief and despair - to think we, as a society, contribute to that is just unbearable for me.
It's a global issue it seems - people are either FOR or AGAINST - but we're mere mortals - we are not kings and judges and almighty Beings and although I know that no one actually means harm in their opinions harm is done.................irrevocably in some cases.
Sometimes by strangers who have no idea what it's like to walk in another's shoes - sometimes by family and close friends - and all too often by parents - unknowingly.
This is as real a video as you're ever going to see -
I know most of you enough to know that you will be heartbroken by it - but I think it's important to watch.
Ryan's parent's message is a message that needs to be heard - please take some time out of your busy day to listen to their voices....................
Whatever your thoughts are - you cannot be unaffected by this and we owe it to
ourselves - to the Gay community and to a young man's eloquent
parents to listen to this story - but mostly we owe it to:
Ryan Robertson - passed away July 10 - 2009 at age 20
Gone too soon.
And above all - let us be reminded to love unconditionally...................................
EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. OF. OUR. LIVES.
Just because they breathe.....................

Wedding photos....................part 1
First of all you have to know how difficult it is to post photos of myself
I take horrible photos - always did - I guess by now I have to concede that
I always will
But I thought if I didn't post any, I'd look like a terrible Mom
Part 1 is photos at the house
Just the " girls "
I feel like Norma Desmond
from Sunset Boulevard LOL
Alright, Mr. DeMille - I'm ready for my close up
casual ( with a lot of humor ) then most - you can read about some of the plans HERE and HERE
Lindsay going to get dressed
IT FITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been asking her for 30 years not to stick out her tongue - it's rude
Show everyone your wedding shoes sweetheart
Ashley, where are you?

Ahhhh...............I think I'm going to blow this one up to the size of my wall - I could stare
at it forever.
We have to get going girls!!!
Are you ready Lindsay???
What are you looking at?
I'm READY Mom " Let's DO it " !!!
Ok - one more and we're off to the church ladies................
That's all for today folks!!!
Lindsay says - Are you going to post photos on your blog Mom?
Mom says - I have to Lindsay - friends are asking to see
Lindsay says - Can I see them first? Please don't post any bad ones of me
Mom says - Are you kidding me?
Mom says - None exist sweetheart
She was the most relaxed - non stressed bride I've ever met - sheer joy to be with -
The mother of the bride on the other hand could have learned a lesson from her - I was a basket case!!!
On another note - please take a moment to visit my very good blogging buddy Kirby ( Kirb Appeal )
as she interviews the author Janet Evanovich!!!!!!! Good stuff!
Have a good day all - Next ones up will be the Church
Much love,
Sharing with!!!
