Hutch Makeover - before and after

Good morning everyone

I just realized I never showed you this piece in it's entirety - I showed you the bottom when that was done and then forgot about it!

So here's the BEFORE - she needed a makeover badly, right?

How do I know she's a she?
She has gorgeous legs
She has curves in all the right places
and she wears the cutest " drawers "

( she always knows her place, she's got style, she's got grace, whoa whoa whoa she's a lady )

And here's the AFTER - completely finished

I don't know why the distressing doesn't show in the above photo - it looks pristine, doesn't it?

But there was, in fact, some sanding involved

A little around her cute legs

painted hutch, white, chalk paint

a little around her drawers

I'm not sure why people don't like these types of knobs - I adore them - the customer may change them - but I feel they fit this type of furniture so beautifully - love the detailing on them -
These were spray painted a very deep charcoal although they look black in the photos

and just for the tiniest bit of drama - I painted the " ceiling " of this piece in graphite -
I did it for 2 reasons - first of all the pop of graphite is so nice against all that crisp white and a nice
surprise when you look up and secondly the ugly hardware of the lighting fades into the deep color - white makes it stand out like a sore thumb :)
You can't see it unless you're right up next to it

A little more distressing around her curves

And she's ready to go back home...................

Painted hutch, annie sloan chalk paint, pure white

All nice and pretty like!
shhh - can you hear her?
she's singing

" nights in white satin .............♫ "

She's a very risque type of hutch as you can tell - but hey - if you got it - you may as well flaunt it !

I used ASCP - Pure White on this one!
Have a great Tuesday everyone :)
Much love,

AND IF YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE IN ANGELS YOU WILL NOW. !!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone -

I have to tell you, it doesn't take much to freak me out on any given day - but this to me is
UNBELIEVABLE.

When I ordered this bracelet - I quickly went back to order another one - so that Pat could have one as well as someone else.............they unfortunately didn't have any left ( sold out in 4 hours )

I went over to random.org to generate a winner - grabbed the number and went back to see who had won - AND NUMBER 15 WAS PAT !!!!!!!!!

I put in the correct entry number -which was 56 but for some reason when I copy and pasted it, it went back to 100 - don't know why - but it does this every single time I use it

Given the fact that this give away was to honor Abby - Pat's ( Gypsy Heart & Soul ) beautiful granddaughter, it completely floored me.

( I got chills - they're multiplying )

U.N.B.E.L.I.E.V.A.B.L.E.

I think Abby's looking out for her Mimi

I shouldn't say this - it's not fair - but I'M SO THRILLED PAT WON THIS !!!

On another sad tragic horrific note - I can't stop thinking of the plane that disappeared - Dear God this is too much................it's just too much

Love,
