I WANNA live there Wednesday # 9

.I live in a pretty incredible area - It's an historical neighbourhood loaded with tons and tons and tons of charm - and 20th century architecture, just steps away from the city center, it's also a pretty expensive neighbourhood ( in which I live in servants quarters basically compared to what I'm surrounded by.)

Because there's days I don't have furniture makeovers to show you - I've chosen Wednesdays to showcase and feature one home that's for sale around here.................( or apartment - or duplex - or teepee ) __________________________________________________________________________________________

WELL THE ONE THING I'VE LEARNED SINCE I STARTED THIS SERIES IS
I WANT A HOME THAT HAS A FIREPLACE IN THE ENTRANCE WAY
AND I WANT TO PUT A XMAS TREE THERE FOR XMAS

I spy with my expert eye - the awnings through the windows - loving it - and I also love that oval shaped table beside the couch

Ok - not sure if you're ready for this one - I think I say it every week ( and if you saw my kitchen you'd know why )
but this time this is absolutely my favorite kitchen to date!!!

Does anyone else love this as much as I do? - love the 2 chairs also!

Ok we may as well check out the back since it's off the kitchen - this one is off the eating area

is that a dog bed ( which matches the carpet ) at the foot of the human bed? OMG - look at the footboard - AGGHHHH

Love love love that wicker chair to the right - does anyone stare at everything in the rooms and decide what should stay and what should go lol

Last night it was cold here!!!
Cold as in oh my God I am so not ready for this.
Cold as in the windows have to be closed.
Cold as in

John says " tonight would be a perfect time for a fire "
Suzan says " oh that would be so nice !!! "
Suzan says " do you feel like a hot chocolate to go with that fire? "
John says - " that sounds great, thanks "

And that's as about Ozzie and Harriet as we can ever get because moments later while I was in
the kitchen making hot chocolate

John yells " SUZANNNNNN "
Suzan says - do you have to yell every time you say my name?
John says - " Can you come here for a moment please ? "
John says - " kindly tell me how I'm supposed to start a fire? "
John says - " does every nook and cranny have to be covered in this house?
John says - " it's become totally unfunctional "
Suzan says - " what has? "
John says - " our home "
Suzan says - " do you live in it? do you sleep in it? do you eat in it? then it's functional! "
John mumbles - barely

WHAT'S HIS PROBLEM ANYWAY? DOESN'T EVERYONE STYLE THEIR HEARTH SO THAT YOU CAN'T GET TO THE INSERT?

Suzan says - "Oh and by the way, DO NOT USE THE FIREWOOD IN THAT CONTAINER,
I white washed so it would look like birch, remember? "
John says - " of course you painted the fire wood Suzan - BECAUSE EVEN FIREWOOD CAN'T STAY IN IT'S NATURAL STATE ? "
John says - " and what pray tell do I make a fire with, there isn't even a wood chip in our house anymore that hasn't been painted "
John says - do you have any painting stir sticks laying around?
( OMG he can be hilarious!!! )
John says - this has reached the level of a sickness now - you'll have to see a doctor eventually "

DISORDER John - it's a disorder............................
D.I.S.O.R.D.E.R. got it?
Would you like marshmallows in your hot chocolate honey?

I wish you could have seen his face when I brought in his chocolat chaud - along with the firewood lol
