Heart to Heart - a Giveaway !

So I also ordered this small ornament - ( one for me and one for one of you actually  )

I told John I ordered the heart for him for Valentine's day

John laughs - No you didn't
Suzan says - I most certainly did
John says - You ordered it for yourself
Suzan says - I ORDERED IT FOR YOU !!!!!!!!!!!
John says - Well I'm going to give it to you for Valentine's day
Suzan says - Oh no you don't - you have to come up with something on your own for me
John says - I already did
Suzan says - What?
John says - That Paris Heart, don't you like it?

Now where do I put it ?

On a door knob?

On the ladder in the living room?

On a dresser?

From the plate rack?

On the kitchen door that I used for storage?

John says - What ARE you doing, running around with that heart?
Suzan says - Trying to decide where I like it best
John says - Just put it anywhere - you're not trying to solve world peace or anything
John says - No matter where it ends up - it'll only be for a day before you change it anyway

Just ignore him.
So the question is

Where would YOU put it ?
The ornament I mean - since I'm assuming you'd put the necklace on your neck and the earrings on your ears ( if you have other plans for them I'd love to hear about that too lol )
Hey you could hang the necklace from a door - and the Paris Map Heart from your neck !!!

Suzan says - I'm giving one away to one of my readers
John says - Well I think we're BOTH giving it away

I'm forbidden to post pics of John - absolutely F.O.R.B.I.D.D.E.N. - but this is 6 years old and very blurry
 ( a pic taken of a pic) so a terrible one at that - it looks like John's missing a tooth but I promise he had all of them in this photo - unlike the time last summer when a cap broke off and we were meeting a fellow blogger for the first time LOL !!! )
Just me 'n my guy !  ( doesn't he look like a typical British school boy? )
I think I'm going back to that hair now that I see this pic - wish I could go back to a smooth wrinkle free face as easily !

Not another Tablecloth !

John's been complaining about the tablecloth as a curtain in the kitchen since I put it up -
AND if he's not complaining - he's laughing about it - ( I can handle that he doesn't like it - but when he laughs at it ? No no no - that won't do )

A package arrived last week -

John says - Not another black and white checked tablecloth !!!
John says - This is the 3rd one - it's becoming an obsession with you
Suzan says - No - it's not another tablecloth - I ordered an actual curtain this time

Complete with a valance

John says - Well now - you have to admit that looks a lot better ?
Suzan says - I didn't mind the tablecloth there at all
John says - You can't admit it when I'm right, can you?
Suzan says - Okay - Okay - I admit it - it does look better

Suzan says - But YOU have to admit that the new lights look good ( you can see what he thought about them when I ordered them here.

They're a little too high - I have to lower them - but they're up !

I like that they're downlighting - the last light - being glass - lit the whole kitchen - these really focus on the island

And by the way - I haven't told John yet that I simply bought a longer tablecloth - and folded the top to create a valance -

I WILL - I'm just going to let him gloat until the perfect opportunity comes up......................
