Dinner Parties

I love setting tables - I mean I really really love doing it - I usually start the night before and try different settings until I get it just right...............

and usually it involves a lot of white - and silvers with touches of black and lots of candles
( I've had a few mishaps with candles believe me - one night a mini bonfire started on the
table which someone put out with a bottle of wine, lol )
and I painstakingly arrange my napkins for the most part like this

For the ladies

and Gentlemen

normally it would be a white shirt and black tie - ( my white napkins must have been
dirty lol )

wine glasses usually hold a quotation - or a poem - each one different for each guest.............
I get by with a little help from my friends
I[m gonna try with a little help from my friends
I eat pie with a little help from my friends
I get high with a little help from my friends
I'm gonna fly with a little help from my friends
etc.................
and name tags sometimes include a little trivia on the back of the card
