I WANNA live there Wednesday # 9

 ______________________________________________________________________________
.I live in a pretty incredible area - It's an historical neighbourhood loaded with tons and tons and tons of charm - and 20th century architecture, just steps away from the city center, it's also a pretty expensive neighbourhood ( in which I live in servants quarters basically compared to what I'm surrounded by.)

Because there's days I don't have furniture makeovers to show you - I've chosen Wednesdays to showcase and feature one home that's for sale around here.................( or apartment - or duplex - or teepee )

Good morning one and all !- Time for another one!!!
This one tugs at my heart...................
1,289,000.00

Isn't this the cutest building ever?  Love the awnings - and the greenery on top of the portico!
Ok - come on in everyone!

Entrance way -

THE WINDOWS!
THE FIREPLACE!
THE MANTEL!

WELL THE ONE THING I'VE LEARNED SINCE I STARTED THIS SERIES IS
I WANT A HOME THAT HAS A FIREPLACE IN THE ENTRANCE WAY
AND I WANT TO PUT A XMAS TREE THERE FOR XMAS

I spy with my expert eye - the awnings through the windows - loving it - and I also love that oval shaped table beside the couch

beautiful built in on the back wall

Ok - not sure if you're ready for this one - I think I say it every week ( and if you saw my kitchen you'd know why )
but this time this is absolutely my favorite kitchen to date!!!

Ta Da

NOW. WAIT. UNTIL. YOU . SEE. THE. OTHER. SIDE.

Does anyone else love this as much as I do? - love the 2 chairs also!

Ok we may as well check out the back since it's off the kitchen  - this one is off the eating area

and this section is off the cooking area

that would be my studio directly behind the deck

and this is how the 2 areas look

Ok time to go back inside - it's 5 o'clock - grab your margarita on the way in

upstairs landing

I won't be saying too much because words simply fail me

is that a dog bed ( which matches the carpet ) at the foot of the human bed?  OMG - look at the footboard - AGGHHHH

Love love love that wicker chair to the right - does anyone stare at everything in the rooms and decide what should stay and what should go lol

basement

and that's it for today folks - off to dream about winning some money -
how many dressers would I have to sell, do you think, to buy this one?

  1. Gorgeous home and the decorating is incredible. This one would suit me perfectly - just big enough for an old lady and her cat!

  3. Wow! Wish I lived in a historical neighborhood. I love looking at old houses. They just don't make them like that anymore. The house you featured is gorgeous! I, too, love the kitchen!

  4. This house certainly has the lux bling effect! I would move in tomorrow if I had the bucks - Patty/BC

  5. Once again, the house looks smallish on the outside, but it is huge inside! I was almost able to picture you and John lounging on those deck chairs near the grill, while your personal chef prepared a little barbecue for two!

  7. Well, I'm still planning to move into last week's by 10/31. I do hope you have advised the appropriate parties! ;-)

There are some gorgeous elements to this home, however, it feels a bit colder to me. We could change it though as soon as you get moved in. Just let me know!

You've done it again!!! I miss seeing homes such as these when I arrived back from Montreal. Homes like these are all I took pictures of.

Due to a large amount of spam ( that I'm tired of going back to posts and deleting ) I'll be using comment moderation from now on !!!
Can I beat these spammers at their own game? Probably not - but I'm going
