I live in a pretty incredible area - in Montreal, It's an historical neighbourhood loaded with tons and tons of charm - and 20th century architecture, just steps away from the city center, it's also a pretty expensive neighbourhood ( in which I live in servants quarters basically compared to what I'm surrounded by )
Because there are days I don't have furniture makeovers to show you - I've chosen Wednesdays to showcase and feature one or two homes that are for sale around here.................( or apartment - or duplex - or teepee )Keep in mind this is in the heart of the city - so the prices reflect that - think Manhattan - where these places would cost 3 or 4 times what they're listed for here!
On occasion I'll showcase beautiful homes in other areas - countries - continents - the one thing most of them will have have in common will be their age - because I love old homes with stories to tell, join me won't you?

They are both so beautiful! Now, if only the lottery ticket would come in...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, these are beautiful. I love the kitchen in the first one, actually I love everything in the first one, but that little outside space in the second is wonderful. Decisions, decisions!! Actually my lottery ticket was a winner last night, but it only paid about CAD$4, lol.
ReplyDeleteBoth are SPECTACULAR....I'd pick number 1. With all of their furniture thrown in.
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous! Do they come with live-in gray squirrels?
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Suzan! I loved peeking at these homes. The first one is gorgeous, but I kept thinking "I would have to clean this? No thanks! (reminds me of the chandelier post!).
ReplyDeleteNow the second one? Yes please. I love the fireplace and the glass doors looking out to a patio. Worth cleaning :)
Love to see you always!
Ceil
Mr. French would be doing the cleaning Ceil !!!!
DeleteIf you could afford to live in them - you could afford help lol
XOX
I really love the awning on the first one! So glamorous. Both really lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am with you! These are great. To have a kitchen that big is a dream....
ReplyDeleteWow...nothing around where I live even remotely looks like that....
ReplyDelete-andi
These are gorgeous, not really my style but my choice would be number 2 for this week. Have the squirrel attacks stop???
ReplyDeleteCynthia
Oh man!!! I could live in either one of those in a New York minute.....because it would be great if it was in Manhatten...wouldn't it? Or, better yet....Paris! Of course it would be $4.2 mil but what the heck? I'd just need a couple dozen roommates and I could swing it easy.....I'd be thinner too, because I couldn't afford to eat. Those are simply gorgeous.......sigh.....
ReplyDeleteAren't they something else? And yes they'd be fantastic in Manhattan - double drool!!!
DeleteXOXO
First one, for sure, Suzan. Amazing kitchen! But I'll 'settle' for the Second One if they're willing to throw in the grand piano for the same price.
ReplyDeleteStill, my heart is in a stone cottage in North Yorkshire (one that has a working Aga, a border collie, and a cathedral and castle nearby.)
Hi Suzan,
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest the first one is too modern for me. The second one much warmer and more inviting.

Once I saw the red, beautiful bed, I couldn't think of anything else...#BedEnvy
ReplyDeleteI always love looking at the decor and different styles.
XOXO,
Meredith
They are beautiful, but a little luxurious for me. Did you coose them because the realtor's name is "PAINT"??? If yoiu can send Mr. French my way, I'll sure appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteYes! In my dreams:)
ReplyDeleteIn my dreams too Joy - unless I win the lottery and then it would be a reality so quickly it would make your head spin LOL
DeleteThanks so much for coming by!
XOXO
