THINK PINK ( a princess dresser )

Once upon a time.......................
I found this on Craig's list

and saw such amazing potential - we got it home and I quickly turned it into this

using ( my almost signature color at this point ) a mix of ASCP Duck Egg Blue and Old White - and the drawers in Pure White - ( sorry the photo doesn't show the handles )
and then I waited
and I waited
and I waited some more
until it became quite obvious that no one else loved it as much as I did and she definitely was not going to the ball

so last night I did a quick transformation - and I really am hoping someone loves it as much as I do - because I have to get rid of this baby!  Is it fit for a princess do you think?

and hoping this once upon a time quickly turns into a

  1. Very princessy - the top molding even resembles a crown....But, then I am seeing pink and crowns everywhere after just finishing a very pink princess room for my granddaughter.... She would love this piece....

  2. That is much better in pink! (So glad you found it!) Someone will snatch that up for a little girls room in no time flat! You have made some little princess happy and you don't even know it yet!

  3. Bet it sells fast! Love the story of the pink paint disappearance mystery. So glad you found it because this dresser is absolutely gorgeous! Hmmmm.... maybe it wanted to stay at your home so "it" hid the paint can? Dresser anxiety? You never know.

  4. I think I like the pink better on this piece for sure.

  12. the owner of the store where I consign my furniture says women are always shopping for little girls' rooms, so this gorgeous piece will certainly find a taker! (She said they never shop for boys' rooms, and I said it's because boys could care less and they bang onto everything, so no sense investing in something nice, lol!)

  17. I hope the pink princess finds a new home, but I was partial to the blue. I think the above comments are right girls' furniture sells quicker than boys'.
