Good morning everyone !
We still haven't put our chandeliers up yet and I can't until the ceilings are redone downstairs to do it!
I took them from our last home where they belonged - I'm afraid they're not going to look " right " in this cottage-y house - which is a moot discussion since they were expensive and they're going up, regardless.
But I'm really loving these lights and the natural element they'd bring to a room !

I'm thinking a trip to the ocean may be in order this summer................because now a DIY light is dangling in front of me ( literally )
What do you think?
Have a great one everybody !

Me
Love all the pictures, Suzan. I like the rustic look of those light fixtures, especially in the right setting. Several would look beautiful in a beach or coastal style room, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI agree - now I have to find some driftwood and then I also have to learn to macrame !

We usually share the same taste in décor and homes, so I am surprised at how much I don't like these lights. I'm thinking John and I might be both not loving these!
ReplyDeleteCute lights!
ReplyDeletejust an fyi when you commented on my post last evening a united parcels ad came with it??Thought you would like to know.
Love those lights! They would be great up in my Sea Gypsy's Nest...
ReplyDeleteNow you have me wondering where I could hang one of those lovelies.
ReplyDeleteSuzan the designs and wood are beautiful! I just can't get into the current bare bulb infatuation. ~ Christina
ReplyDeleteThese are way cool. You better put your flip flops on even if it's cold outside. You have to start your hunt for driftwood. Good luck

Love them all...they definitely have a beachy vibe to them! Speaking of...wish I were on the beach right about now. I could use the soothing sound of the waves and the wond in my face. Nothing like a walk on the beach at sunset...or sunrise. OK...I just gotway off topic...the lights, love them. Do what I do and mix it up. My home has multiple personalities, but they all make me happy..lol!
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest, they're a little to coastal for my taste but hey! we can't all be the same. It would definitely bring a fun vibe to a space. I do like the glass globe with the rope around it. :)
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDelete#4 is my favorite.
Fun lights.
Have a great weekend,
Carla
Love them all. No idea where I'd put them, but love them anyway.
ReplyDeleteI think they are fun. Most are a bit too rustic for my home but they would be fun in a cottage type setting or a really eclectic styled home. Just fun!!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteBeautiful chandys....I especially love the ones with the driftwood...so beautiful and unique!
ReplyDeleteI know you could totally whip a couple of these up. You need a beach vacation and a couple of light fixtures from the thrift store. Think of all the money you will save DIYing them. You will get a nice vacation which is a business expense cuz of course you will make two and sell one! It's a win win.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these lights and really wanted one as a statement piece, but the budget did not allow for it. So thanks to Amazon and Light-In-The-Box I stayed on buget woth oil rubbed bronze ones instead. I also brought a beautiful chandy from my old house, but it won't work for this house, so will follow me to my next one. xo Patty
