IT'S RUDOLPH ! ( an element of fun )

I ordered this online from Target ( we no longer have Target in Canada but we can order online )

John says -  What exactly is that thing you have hanging on the ladder?
Suzan says - Well if you need me to tell you................
Suzan says - It's a stag head
John says - I know what it is but it's horrible !  It's bad enough we have an outdoor ladder in the living room now you want to dangle animal heads off it?
Suzan says - It's fun - the little ones will love it !
John says - It's going to give the little one's nightmares

He obviously did NOT pay attention to Mary Poppins............I took her very seriously

In every job that must be done
There is an element of fun
You find the fun and snap !
The job's a game

And every task you undertake
becomes a piece of cake
A lark !  A spree !
It's very clear to me

Just some leftover ribbon and a broken ornament
A broken ornament
A broken ornament
Justt some leftover ribbon and a broken ornament
Creates the most delightful deer !

John says - Well now it looks even more ridiculous

But it's staying - because I don't know any little ones that think Rudolph is ridiculous - he's the most famous reindeer of all :)
The Grinch will get used to it ................he always does !

Have a great one everybody
Hugs,
Me

  4. Great minds think alike! I have that same deer head. I didn't know they had them at Target or I would have just gone there and saved the shipping!!! I found mine online. I have an old barn door I'm adding mine to and he's going to stay up all year long!

  8. Suzan, Rudolph is great!
The Grinch: The nerve of those Whos. Inviting me down there - on such short notice! Even if I wanted to go my schedule wouldn't allow it. 4:00, wallow in self pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30, jazzercize; 6:30, dinner with me - I can't cancel that again; 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing... I'm booked. Of course, if I bump the loathing to 9, I could still be done in time to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling and slip slowly into madness. But what would I wear?

  13. I LOVE your Rudolph! :D
I made a burlap JOY banner today and when my husband came in he asked what it was. I said "it's a JOY banner". He said "don't we have enough stuff hanging up already?" Sometimes they just don't get it. lol

  20. I think he is pretty danged cute myself! lol You are so clever, Julie Andrews--er---Suzan.
When Lulu was little we went to a friend's house that had a big deer head hanging on an outside wall. She asked where the rest of the deer was and I told her it was standing outside the house-(supposedly attached to the deer). She peeked out the window and said- Nana, you're crazy. That deer runned away so fast it lefted its head here. lol I about wet my pants laughing.

  21. Too, too cute nose of the deer! If you want John to have a total fit do a forest with branches woven through the ladder. We all know how much he loves branches in the house. LOL

  22. Well, first of all, love the deer. Second of all, no Target? When did that happen? I missed it. That's like a major international meltdown. I'd get rid of Wal-Mart before Target. When we get a new President in the U.S. we need to petition him to fix this problem.
