I WANNA live there Wednesday # 135

Good morning all !

I found a site - oh wow - did I find a site !

These houses are not for sale - they're used for films !

( how many sentences can I end with an exclamation point? Probably a full post's worth ! )

All images are from JJ LOCATIONS and may just be my new favorite site to visit - you have to check them out .........

There are too many to count - and they're all gorgeous - but here's one I particularly loved !

They're a little mixed up in order ( this is not a real estate listing after all ) just serious house candy !

There's another one I'm drooling over but it'll have to be another time :)

You all have a wonderful Wednesday everyone !
Hugs,
Me

  1. It looks like it could have been the set fo one of those British shows.. maybe a Dr. Who visiting someone or the one with thelion and the wardrobe. Just beautiful and very cozy! I really love all the details.

  3. PS: I still don't have a single TV working in the Cottage, but I know how I'll spend my evening, browsing this amazing website!

  4. Super Pretty. My favorite location house, besides Downton Abbey, lol, was the house from the movie, Practical Magic. A magazine did a spread on it, and it was deliciously shabby and quirky too, and I want to live there!

    1. Well if I lived at Downton Abbey I'm pretty sure it would be downstairs and that wouldn't be such fun LOL !!!

  6. I LOVE the oversized knobs on the kitchen cabinetry. And that stove! And an actual table and chairs!! It would take hours to list everything I love about this house!

  7. Oh my gosh! That stove!!!!! I always notice the homes in movies and television shows. I'll often say to hubby did you see that wall or something like that. I think he thinks I'm crazy! This home is gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  8. Oh my! I'm in lust! Though the home is way too huge for me (one person) there isn't anything I don't like except the carpeting on the floors of some of the rooms. I'm a bare floor kind of girl! Did you notice that most if not all the mirrors are oval-shaped? Even the stand-alone one on the huge dresser in one of the kids' rooms. It is such a pleasure seeing colour on the walls and there isn't one colour that I don't like but especially do like the colour of the foyer. I've been trying to figure out what makes the home say good things to me and I think it's all the details - large and small!
Wow! Home to see more from you from this website! Don't want to spoil your "I Want To Live There" surprises each week. And speaking of which, how about some "normal" homes for "normal" people - like your own home. Or some special "tiny homes"?
Thanks as always, Suzan. I look forward to getting your emails every day,
    Cathy

    1. Hi Cathy !!! I'm in lust too !
I was approached by a design team to take photos of my home - I almost choked on my laughter - I'm so not ready with this house yet to have a home tour !!!
And I DO show smaller homes - you must have missed them - I've even shown some fixer uppers that were in terrible condition and wrote what I'd do for them !
Thanks so much for the visit - hope you have a great weekend

  10. Thanks for sharing this delightful house. I have a Dixie Dawn pink bedroom and pink tub/toilet/etc in one bathroom. RE agent said "No more pink!" When the room faces the woods to the north, the right warm color is essential. Yellow was all wrong but DD is perfect. It makes the room lovely little nest, with the family treasures on the wall and mother's old rose flowered curtains at the window. Maybe the wrong agent is trying to sell my house? Hope not, as she is a whirlwind and very practical in other ways. Nice gal, too...so guess i'll forgive her about pink. This house you show is about all i could ask for, and people sized too.....thanks for finding and sharing.....

    1. It sounds lovely Marje - I never changed anything when the agents recommended it - and have broken records when houses have been sold ( one in 8 hours with multiple offers ) The right one will come along - and at the end of the day they can change it after purchase, right ?
      Have a wonderful weekend !
You just need a pair of rose colored glasses now !

Can I beat these spammers at their own game? Probably not - but I'm going
