Ladies in Red..............

Good morning everyone!

I thought I'd have another makeover ready for you today - but I still have a little tweaking to do on it - so you get all this eye candy instead..................

The power of RED - I've never painted anything red in my life ..............you know me - Miss Grey and white  and when I want my wild side to come out - well I go with Duck Egg blue lol
But I LOVE red - really I do - and when I see these my heart pounds a little - most definitely

And now I'm thinking realizing every home deserves at least one Lady in Red to grace it................

Unless of course you look like this in red yourself

Then a red dresser would probably just be redundant..........................

Have a great first day of the week all :)

  4. I love these, and this is not a "red" house--I had quite a bit of it in the last house, though. So pretty.

  5. These are gorgeous examples of red furniture,it is my favourite colour yet I have not painted anything red yet either. I need to find the right shade because I am itching to slap some red on something. I'm sort of afraid the dam will break and everything will end up red once I start. Thanks for all the inspiration!

  10. I love your inspiration pictures. I always fall in love with red dressers... But somehow, it would never occur to me to paint one red for myself... So I can't wait to see what you've done!

  11. LOVE!!! I've been looking at red things lately, I'm gonna use it as an accent in my black and white themed rooms. I'm not sure what "things" will be red but I've always loved red. I would love to see you paint something red. Please! I'll take any one of those dressers. Gorgeous!

  13. I love red and I specially love red dresses. I wore to a day wedding, couple of months ago, a red dress and a man friend called me.."the lady in red", lol..You should go for it, as you will look like the famous blonde, too!

  14. I like the darker reds on those dressers.... the ones that look old. The brighter ones just look like "painted" furniture to me. lol...I'm probably a snob--- what do I know? lol

  15. Are you about to paint something red??? I tried a little red in my bedroom...but it just didn't work out! I think red is tricky.

  16. Dangit! If I would have worn my red dress today I wouldn't look so slatternly.

I love seeing red accents in people's homes (the red floral curtains in the kitchen on the set of Hot in Cleveland, for example), but like Danni says, it's tricky. So is pink.
