Does it make you want to do a little barn raising ?
And how on earth can I convince John we really should be living in a barn?

I am saving this! What a perfect home for retirement years! No steps, nice open, bright space, minimal boundaries and lots of space. What a beautiful, beautiful home. I think I'll start looking for a nice piece of property! Now I'm off to convince Ferdinand that we need to move to the country!
ReplyDeleteOh give me a home...
ReplyDeleteWhere the buffalo roam...
And the deer & the antelope play...
A little too rustic for me, but I love the soaring space and the old beams!
Wow. That is stunning. I love the veranda, the stone work, rafters, beams, sliding barn doors etc. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice you move in I'll visit.

Absolutely Love, Love this. It really has that rustic, country atmosphere to it.
ReplyDeleteSimply adore all them windows to bring in all that nature light.
Yes, I would definitely love to live there. I like Everything about this place
Absolutely beautiful, nothing cookie cutter about it. Wonderful dream home for when the lottery win materializes! Patty

ReplyDeleteWOW! I can almost picture a half-dozen little buckaroos seated up on the kitchen stools while I cook up some cornbread and beans!
Yeehaw! Now that's a ranch house. Lol. I want a Dutch door and sliding barn doors. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteHey (or should I say 'hay'?) you could leave the doors open if you lived there, or at least that's what I'd assume since the saying, "What do you think you were born in a barn?" was always in response to me leaving a door open. :)
ReplyDeleteI want this... but I want it as a vacation home I spend the winter in. Not too much to ask for, right?
That doesn't look like any barn I've ever seen. I have a love affair with barns and like to photograph them. Strangely enough, country living doesn't even appeal to me. A past life, maybe?
ReplyDeleteLiked the idea that they up-cycled materials and used variety of original hardware that they save and restored from the buildings that they dismantled. They also reproduced a complete line of wrought iron hardware made by hand in their blacksmith shop using the ancient and original methods and tools that authentic iron hardware was made by.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those rare cases when using sliding barn doors makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed the bucket sink in the island. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! <3
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home!!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a stunning home space! Hard to believe a barn could be something so posh.
ReplyDeleteThe windows, the sliding barn doors, the beams, the bucket sink...so many details to look at! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI know - it's hard to take it all in, isn't it ?
DeleteThanks !
xoxo
Oh I would love to live in a barn...especially the one above. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely stunning, a whole new meaning of being raised in barn for sure!!
ReplyDeleteI could move right in that barn with no problem!! Thanks for sharing at Show and Share.
