I was sick last week - boy was I sick.............like bedridden type of sick.
And now that I'm on the mend it seems that John is coming down with something - the poor guy - I wouldn't wish what I had on my worst enemy - I swear to you it was debilitating.
Since I did NOTHING for over 6 days you're kind of stuck with " recaps " this week ( if you're visiting )
First one up?
Painting projects of course !
If anyone would have asked me ( and if I didn't have a blog where most things are documented ) I would have told you I didn't do very much in terms of paint in 2015.

Fabulous projects, Suzan!! I'm so sorry you are sick, and hope that is it for the whole year and that John doesn't get it as bad as you did.
ReplyDeleteLove looking at your past re loves. Glad you are on the mend and feeling better.
ReplyDeleteKris
I'm glad you are feeling better ~ poor John!!
ReplyDeleteDon't do too much too soon!
Hugs ~
Suzan, I am SO glad you are feeling better and better. I send tons of healthy, positive vibes to you and John.
ReplyDeleteAs for your recap... you are not alone in thinking you didn't do much in terms of whatever the category is. Good you have the blog! :)) You have been mighty busy girlfriend!!!
xoxo ~ Christina
You were a productive little thing, weren't you. I was going to pick out a favorite, but ended up with about 6 of them.....so.....nice job, all!!!!!!!!! Good news on the feeling better department. Hopefully, John won't be getting the same thing.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you both, so sorry to hear you were sick and now John is. Sucks! Wishing you health, happiness and perhaps a big jackpot win! That would be fun to start 2016 off on the right foot, wouldn't it? xo Patty
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and Dave as well Patty !
DeleteOh a Jackpot win - from your lips to God's ears LOL
XOXO
That's a lot of painting! Glad to hear you are on the mend and hope John feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are on the mend and wishing John a speedy recovery. It is so nice to be reminded of a number of your wonderful projects from the past year. Somehow I missed the post on the bird houses altogether. They are wonderful! Just what I needed to see on this cold, gloomy day. I may have to copy that project!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I was horribly sick too! Down with a terrible sinus infection ! In bed for 7 days! Ugggg! Hope you are feeling better! I goat sick Christmas Eve! Through Christmas and New Years!!! Wow! Haven't even opened any gifts yet! I was thinking! I told my husband ! Let's just save them for next year!!!ha! Wheel! Get better !! I HATE ,being sick!!!
ReplyDeleteWasn't it horrible - I'm STILL not feeling 100 % better !
DeleteAnd Dear God - go open your gifts for crying out loud LOL !
xoxo
Hi Suzan! Happy New Year to you and John. Sorry you've been sick over the holidays. I was too and it took me several days to get back to normal. Not nice!! I enjoyed seeing some of your painting projects from 2015....always so beautifully done. I bet you have some projects lined up for this year already. Keep warm this week!
ReplyDeleteI'd rather be sick myself than put up with a sick husband! Mine is such a baby! Hope you're all better soon! Hope I can do a fraction this year of what you did all last year. I'll be trying.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a busy year you've had! So many great projects! I glad that you are on the mend and ready to paint!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy and blessed new year!
Hugs,
Patti
So sooty for you two, wait not sooty, but sorry!❣ my faves are all of them! Think I will paint a Scottish Thistle on my bathroom door! Scotland for ever! Last night it was snowing just a little, so quiet, but then two lovely owls were calling to each other in our giant fir trees, was wonderful indeed. Make sure you keep hydrated, ginger ale and ginger tea for your tummies. Still have our tree up, maybe tomorrow, but then perhaps it could become a Valentine Days tree, whatcha think? Get better my dear, all the way❣👍☃☺️
ReplyDeleteI kind of felt sooty for myself too Mary Anne LOL ! John felt lousy for one day only - lucky man !
DeleteI took Christmas down this week - INSIDE the house only - it's still in the porch and outside and will probably be there for awhile !!!
Thanks so much Mary Anne - Happy New Year !
xoxo
Hi,
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful projects. I remember the bird house story. Oh John ;-)
Happy New Year,
Carla
Oh no...not sick! Well l'm glad you're feeling better. Hope John isn't down and out for long. You did good this year, girlfriend. After all, you did tackle a whole house! Get some rest.
ReplyDeleteAmazing makeovers!! Too bad we are not closer to each other or I would pay you to redo my mother's bedroom furniture!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by and for leaving such a nice comment about Nelson Crest. She is my pride and joy!!
Happy New Year to you!!
Hugs,
Deb
I sure hope you're feeling better by now, Suzan. Wow, it was a prosperous painting year for you with so many beautiful transformations. Thanks for sharing your projects at Talk of the Town.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've had a very busy year! Glad to read you're on the mend. Happy New Year! Cynthia
ReplyDeleteOh I should have been a lot busier Cynthia - this house really needs to get finished LOL
DeleteThanks So much - and Happy New Year to you too!
XOXO
You have such a magic tough with bringing furniture pieces back to life!!
ReplyDelete~Cindy
I'm so glad that you are much better, Suzan!! So sorry that you were so sick! I sure hope that John doesn't get it bad.
ReplyDeleteSee, I told you that you are definitely the QUEEN of BUSY!! You are always painting something if it doesn't move faster than you! All of your pieces look so much nicer after your creativity transforms them. Do you sell them or keep them all?
Take care of yourself!
Hugs,
Laura/Hazel
I sell some - keep some - store some lol !
DeleteI wasn't busy enough - this house needs to get finished !!!
Thanks so much xoxo
So many amazing projects! I can't pick a favorite! Great work!

ReplyDeleteSo many great projects and you did a wonderful job with all of them, especially with the dressers! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteToo many to choose a favorite, but let's start with the flag door and the fireplace cabinet. Then there's the rocking chair and the rustic red table...gorgeous, everyone of them. So glad you are feeling better, hang in there, Spring in just over the horizon;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I saw a few pieces for the baby as well! All beautiful Suzan! One prettier than the other!! I know you'll surprise us with more of your magic this year!
ReplyDeleteYes - Evan was the benefactor of quite a few pieces ( some of which I didn't even post !!! )
DeleteThanks so much Mary !
Happy New Year to you and yours !
