I don't have a before photo of this - or rather, I do have a before photo of this but can't find it among the thousands of photos in my file -
But it looked like this one
which I turned into this
to go with this
the one above was a rocker - this is a chair
all little girls love butterflies
so now this dresser has a matching chair too!
Audrey Hepburn said
"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles. "
Am I resorting back to my childhood?
Possibly - I'm falling in love with pink again!
and speaking of PINK did I ever mention that I walked for Cancer a few years ago? 60 kilometers - ( 37 miles ) the most significant pink of all..............................

Smart woman that Audrey Hepburn!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you didn't have to look for the barely there pink again!! Looks lovely to me....surely these are already gone to some little princess!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! You have such a knack. And yes, I'm glad "Elvis" didn't come by and hide your can of pink again.
ReplyDeleteI would have no problem walking 37 miles. As long as they gave me 30 days to do it. What a great cause. My mother is a two-time breast cancer survivor.
Really like the first grey and white chair!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, absolutely beautiful:-) Thanks for stopping by, hugs Biljana
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pair! Any little girl, or girl at heart, would love to have them in her room! Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteSuzy- That turned out just darling. Love the pink and white and some little gal is gonna be thrilled with it. How could you possibly lose a picture? It is just one among thousands! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteGood for you! And the furniture transformation is just gorgeous. Must tell you: I found a vintage '40s vanity with large mirror the width of the whole vanity and it had curved corners. Good shape. $50. Didn't get it. Hubby said the typical 'Where would we put it?' What kind of question is that???! LOL I thought of you!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great transformation.
