I'm ready to move in too. Those old houses have all the character the new ones lack.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of thatch, but I have always wondered about living in a house with a thatch roof.
ReplyDeleteDo you know the origin of the term "raining cats and dogs"? The dogs and cats slept up in the roof and when it poured down rain, the cats and dogs would fall to the floor.
I'll take it!! I love that there are a couple of rooms that would be great for my art studio ~
ReplyDeleteLovely... did you see that the house used in Downton Abbey for the Dowager Countess is for sale? GORGEOUS! xoxox

ReplyDeleteI love everything about this beautiful historic house!!
I love history and if these walls could talk it would be very interesting!! You even get your own pond....Now how cool is that?!!
Thanks for picking one from the UK!! I love looking at real estate in the UK.... Guess it's because I'm from a Scottish background!!

Ah with a little bit of freshening up here and there it is perfect! First to go the icky carpet in the bathroom, good God what is wrong with them?! Hilarious. Lovely home and property, charming, quaint and those beams look familiar ; ). The church farmhouse makes me think that Jane Austen could have lived there, as she grew up in the same environment. Sadly her home was torndown. Sunny here too after 2 dys of blah. xo Patty/NS
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely. The grounds are beautiful. I wonder how drafty and cold the place is though. Love the kitchen and conservatory. Sunny evening here but going down to 2!!!!!! A risk of frost. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if the Aga was Robin's egg blue and of course the kitchen cabinets would have to be painted white, guess it would do.😉😋
ReplyDeleteSo full of English charm!
