We've been really busy working on things but thought I'd pop in and share this - in case any of you are on your way to Ikea today ☺
Every now and then I come across something from that store that is just too cute for words !
Such as these black silhouette planters !
IKEA |
From their website I thought they were stickers but they're actually black steel and the perfect Spring decor.
You can use the bottom rings to have them stand on a surface like this
IKEA |
This simple fence planked frame is the perfect back drop for so many different styles !
I had a glitzy round mirror in it previously - but this is so " Spring like " right?
A nail in one of the " petals " holds them up - while the bottom pieces tuck perfectly into the bottom ledge of the frame
It rests over the guest room bed
Where the black curves tie in with the bed frame itself
Have a wonderful Monday everyone !
Much love
( what are you waiting for ? Get to Ikea ! )

Oh my gosh, so cute. And I love your bird cushion.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. It goes so nice with the boards in the background and the bed frame. You are so clever.
ReplyDeleteI go often to that Ikea when I visit my daughter in Longueuil.
Have a nice week Suzan. xo
Thanks so much Thel !
DeleteI go to the one in St. Laurent - you must go to the one near St Bruno, no?

so cute!! I've noticed those before and wondered if I should pick some up. I love them framed like that!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! IKEA is only 2 hours away, so it might be a bit before I get there. And I'll have to pack a bag lunch because I don't like their food. LOL Cute ideas, Suzan. Have a wonderful Monday!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had an Ikea near us...
ReplyDeleteWhat a simple and fabulous idea! Love them in the frame.
ReplyDeleteHow cute and simple. This would be so cute out on the deck as well. I think I need a trip to IKEA.

Suzan, the planters are adorable and putting in the frame was inspired.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I want your throw pillows more! lol

ReplyDeleteReally cute! I've never been to Ikea. Shame on me! I think there's one about an hour from here. I'll try to get over there one day.

Love it! Wish I had an IKEA closer to me. Hopefully they'll still have them when I get the chance to go.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Karla !
DeleteThey have such fun decorating items for reasonable prices - you have to make a list next time you go LOL !

How very clever. Those silhouette planters look great in the frame and look wonderful hanging above the bed.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! Hubby and I were just talking about going to Ikea...we are needing a new sofa. The old one is not looking so good. I'll have to look for these planters.

I usually go for the hotdogs and leave with a truck full of furniture! This is so cute Suzan. I love that you framed them and they do fit perfectly with your bed frame and pillows!!

I love what you did, so darn clever! Thank you so much for bringing your fabulous ideas to The Vintage Inspiration Party.
ReplyDeleteI was in Ikea last week-end and I didn't see them. Which can mean that a) they don't carry them in France or b) there were too many screaming children screaming in the area they were and I didn't get close to them !
ReplyDeleteThat is just adorable and what a clever idea! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I love these. I will have to remember this next time I see wire décor. Very clever! Thanks for sharing! Visiting via Handmade Hangout.
ReplyDeleteThey're both fun and whimsical Suzan! They look darling over your bed. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
