I know most of you think Paris is my favorite city in the world - and it is for a lot of reasons - but it's tied with Manhattan.
There's something about being in the city that never sleeps ( they sleep in Paris ) when you're a person that doesn't sleep that seems a perfect fit.
If I won the lottery - these vagabond shoes would head down the highway I'm sure.
And if I won a large enough lottery I'd want something like this beauty !!!
Manhattan, NY ( Park Avenue )

There aren't that many photos but the ones there are?
Just spectacular !
Did you notice that the living room - dining room and master bedroom all had doors leading outside to a terrace?
THIS is why I would live in this apartment in a heartbeat
How gorgeous !
And since this fixer upper of ours reminds me a little of Green Acres - I'll leave you with this
Have a wonderful Wednesday one and all !
Much love,

Beautiful huge outdoor spaces, something you don't usually have in Paris. It is also very modern, not what I think of when someone says Paris.
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous! I love the city but after awhile I'm always ready to get back to my home in the country where I can't see my neighbors. Of course, if someone wanted to give me the 5.75 million dollar apartment, I'd take it (until it came time to pay the taxes on it)!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! A girl can dream right?!!!!
ReplyDeleteA little too stark white for me... but I love the outdoors area!! I'll just come for a visit ~
ReplyDeleteManhattan is pretty amazing ... and incredibly expensive!
ReplyDeleteI'd live as a homeless person on that patio, if I could. Gorgeous...and for such a pittance, lol. Love these Posts, Sandi
ReplyDeleteLMHO !!!
DeleteI think I would too !
xox
Suzan just swooning. How gorgeous is this place. The character to the building is fabulous too. I too would take that place in a heart beat with all the exits and views outside. Beautiful. Ahhhhh maybe in my next life!!!!
ReplyDeleteKris
I hope to get an invite. I'll race you to buy a ticket for tonight 🚗 ooooo. xo P
ReplyDeleteOf course you will Patty - we'll take in a musical while you're visiting !!!
DeleteXOXO
Fabulous! That is all I have to say!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt IS just Gorgeous, Suzan! Wouldn't it be ever so wonderful to be Filthy with money and have this place as "just a townhouse in New York to stay to do some Christmas Shopping" and also to be able to go to just whenever? And then of course, it goes without saying, that one would also have just as spectacular a place on the West Coast--probably a beach house in Malibu where all of the stinkin' rich live out here in So.CA., and a majestic Victorian in San Francisco, not to mention the Villa in Italy, (actually maybe 2 or 3), and the Chateau in the Loire Valley in France and gorgeous townhouses in Paris and London! Also something gorgeous from the ones you've showcased in the Montreal environs. Ah the life of the 1%!! All I can do is fantasize! Your "I wanna Live Here" blogs really fuel the Fantasies for me! We have been updating the interior of our house, and with everything costing so much, I often wonder what it would be like not to have a monetary limit on spending!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the fantasies! I love Manhattan and Paris like you, but when I see some of those places in Long Island like around the Hamptons, all I can do is sigh!
Please Kiss Evan for me, Grandma Lucy!
God bless you!
Laura/Hazel
I think that's the way I was supposed to live Luara - and something went terribly wrong LMHO !!!
DeleteI'm going to give Evan a kiss from you and tell him it's form his Auntie Ethel !!!
God bless you right back
xoxoxo
Oh I love the terrace. Haha, bruce calls our farm Green Acres...have to climb the telephone pole to make a call. (We have spotty Internet and cell phone coverage).
ReplyDelete:-)
Cecilia
OMG!! You bought back my childhood with the Green Acres video!! The apartment is nice, the terrace is awesome but the video is (we have a saying in Greek) "All the Money"!!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW !!! lol
DeleteWhat a great show that was !
( loved Petticoat Junction too - I think it was a spin off ! )
xox
Love the terrace, but the apartment is a bit too fancy for this gal. :) Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I love Manhatten... and I could definitely live here in this gorgeous space! :)
ReplyDelete...my husband and FIL used the term, "climb the pole," quite often! They're both witty, so I assumed they made it up themselves! One night we were watching Green Acres, and it was revealed where the phrase came from! lol! Loved Green Acres! They don't make shows like that anymore! :) ~Rhonda
They really don't Rhonda - we had such incredible TV back in the day !
DeleteThanks !
xxx
What a gorgeous apartment in Manhattan! I love that terrace too.
ReplyDeleteAll that, and I have to notice that the handle on the refrigerator would have been better on the other side!
