I just came back from walking Soda -
A good 15 minute walk - but I had to drag the poor little thing the whole way - it's cold out there and she's getting older and she does NOT like it
Even with her coat on
We got in - took our coats off - and went upstairs - where she promptly created this for me
( as an appreciation for all that I do for I, I'm thinking )
Heart Shaped Pee -
Between John bringing me FLOUR ( HERE )and Soda - well, I'm feeling like one very lucky lady today !!!
She's in the doghouse for this by the way.................that's construction paper on the floor - to keep it getting marked while I shuffle furniture all around ( until I get it right ) and which is now saturated
with this wonderful gift.
And the irony of it all is the timing - she has impeccable timing - I've been stumped for days now on creating a heart for Valentine's day - and kept drawing up a blank - I helped her out a little with picmonkey - but she created the original completely on her own.............
Can you imagine what she could do with number 2?
Have a wonderful Saturday all ( I'll be disinfecting floors )
Much love,
Oh Suzan, you are priceless and funny! I miss visiting your blog, gotta come by more often! Have a wonderful week-end.
ReplyDeleteNicole xx
Hilarious! At least Soda is in the mood for Valentines love...or something.
ReplyDeleteLOL...you crack me up! Thanks for starting my weekend with a laugh...:) Soda looks like a sweetie...:) Have a blessed weekend....Vicky
ReplyDeleteSoda proving that dogs are more intelligent than humans. Who wants to go out in way below freezing weather, even to answer the call of nature! Neither dog nor (wo)man.
ReplyDeleteAwww....she wants to 'shower' you with love. She's so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteHahaha......she just finds you "a- pee- ling"...hahaha. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteWho knows what she could have created without the paper on the floor?♥♫
ReplyDeleteLOL! Oh Suzan just LOL!
ReplyDeleteKris
LOL! I can't imagine that poor little thing out in that weather! At least Soda is an artist like her mother.
ReplyDeleteWe have a toy poodle, and he freaks out when it rains. (We have over 300 days of sunshine and much less days of rain.) No matter how long I send him out for, he rather hold it and then pee in his kennel and then stand in it and then look like he doesn't know how it happened.
I know John always comments on your antics. Now you tell me that Soda likes to add to the comments. Soda sounds like one clever pup.
ReplyDeleteI am fostering my military brother's pughuahua (pug-chihuahua mix) and he has me trained to carry him 60% of the block we walk around every morning when it's this cold. He has a parka also, but his feet get chilly.
ReplyDeleteHow funny. Soda doesn't like the cold - you should put down some pee pads for her. At least she is talented. LOL
ReplyDeleteMary
Soda should receive an A for creativity just near Valentine's Day. Don't be hard on her. My Daisy is 12 plus years old and we are experiencing all kinds of surprises with her because she also hates the cold and especially rain. She's trying, I know, so I just clean it up and hope someone is kind to me when I'm 12 in dog years.
ReplyDeleteAw, poor Soda. I'm sorry but I had to LOL over that. You have to admit she's pretty creative in her pee skills. And very artistic at creating the perfect modern heart shape. :)
ReplyDeletelmao maybe she knew you needed a valentine's post she is only helping you out lol lmao
ReplyDeleteOur Bo could be out all day and come inside and piddle! But she left you a very unique heart so I guess it was meant to be! Soda is one creative pee.er.
ReplyDeleteGood girl, Soda. What a sweet girl to make your mommy such a special gift. It takes a real talent to pee in heart shapes. I'm glad you are appreciative. hahaha
ReplyDeleteHehe
ReplyDeleteWhat a talented pup!! My little baby runs and hides when we have this weather. I have to throw her out physically, if I can catch her!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Hi Suzan!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have one of those talented dogs here!!!
Sasha loves the snow(The stuff we don't get a lot of and are expecting tomorrow). We find it's the best weather to take her out in, but, forget a nice summer day. She's done some really cool drawings that I've actually was thinking of taking a picture and entering it a contest....Not!!!!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!!
Pam

lol She's learned well from her Mama, Suzan! Well....not that YOU pee on the floor (that I know of) ....but I'm referring to her artistic talent, of course. She sure loves you! lol

Such a thoughtful Valentine's gift for her to give you. It is forever immortalized on the net!
ReplyDeleteMy little Jesse (5 1/2 months old) leaves me "Valentines" all over the house. How thoughtful of Soda to join in with all this love.
ReplyDeleteHow do you disinfect the floors? We have old hardwood floors that are not varathaned but waxed and the pee eats the wax leaving white stains. Do you have any ways to fix this?
Poor Soda, Maggie is not liking the cold here either, I am missing Kamloops with its mild winters. I feel like I moved to Alaska. I have the paper down on the floor too, as I try to figure out where to put things. but I fell down the concrete steps two days before the moving truck got here. Hurt my back, neck and pulled muscles in my arms. So I am not doing much furniture arranging. My sisters are coming this weekend to give me a hand. Nice to have family close by now. Love the heart Soda, you were just telling Mommy you love her, but it is too bloody cold to pee out there. Maggie agrees, hugs Tobey
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Sodapup is definitely a pup with heart. By the way, for some reason when I go to the post you just sent(a few minutes ago), the page is blank where the post should be--just your lavender background. I could read a little of it on my page of posts received(previous called blogroll). I have never seen this happen before and I don't know if it is something on my end or yours. I can go to your older posts with no problem. Have a beautiful Sunday!
ReplyDeletePoor baby. She's giving you a message. Why not try some puppy pads while it's so cold?
ReplyDeleteThis cracks me up! You know...if you're on Instagram, you should totally post this pic with the hashtag #finditineverything. Drew Barrymore is holding a contest to find unique pictures of heart shapes in unexpected places. I think the winners receive signed copies of her book or something. :) You'd totally win!!
ReplyDeleteOur dog Willie was a rescue who was foster by someone who trained him to pee on a pad. Every time we put newspaper down to do a project, he pees on it and is very proud of himself. If I had to go in the snow, I would refuse! I am waiting for the sculpture Soda will be presenting you.
ReplyDeleteBest valentine post!! The bladder is close o the heart??
ReplyDeleteMy dog, Sadie, is very impressed with Soda's artistic abilities! Are you going to frame it and hang it in her doghouse?
