( then I'm off to find some rope to hang myself with - I know it's in one of the boxes )
Have a wonderful Wednesday all !!!
Much love,
Partying Here !!!
I think I could be quite happy in an apartment in Paris!
ReplyDeleteI could manage in any of those. There are some beautiful floors in this collection.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you didn't try to show us anything in North America. I'm moving as soon as I can find someplace without snow. So what's the weather like in Paris right now? The photos are beautiful and so inviting and what a reprieve it would be to teleport there right now, at least for a couple months. sigh. DON'T find that rope. Just find two r.t. tickets to Paris and send one of them to me. :-))
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the first one....although I wouldn't complain about living in any of them, they are all so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think it's time for a trip to Paris too. Gather your husband, and I'll gather mine, and we'll go walking along the Seine & do lunch. It's a great place to meet for the first time, don't you think? :) The homes are lovely.
ReplyDeleteHerringbone floors? Yes, please!!
ReplyDeleteThe second one, please! Love the trim/ moldings in that one. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful...and too hard to choose!
ReplyDeleteDo you think owning 3 or 4 of these apartments is too many? By the way, will you share your rope with me?
ReplyDeleteLMHO - I'm still looking for it - but yes I'll definitely share some with you - I'm very giving like that LOL

Wow, love the rooms that are old!
ReplyDeleteAll amazing places I would never have been able to afford if I had stayed in Paris. A friend of mine had an amazing appartment near the Arc de Triomphe and I'm so kicking myself for not taking pictures of it then! Come have a look by The Little White House if you want to see more Paris to cheer you up!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?
ReplyDeletePlease don't hang yourself. Remember vacation next month.
ReplyDeleteAlso, think about changing your kitchen floors with a gorgeous chevron hardwood floor. Oh so Parisian and so your style. I showed these pics to Frank for our livingroom. Fingers crossed.
These are amazing Suzan. The second one with all the woodwork and carvings is gorgeous. You go on vacation soon so hang in there girl!!!
ReplyDeleteCynthia
My Dearest Suzan!!!
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I could be there to help you with the reno that is at hand!!!
I thought I would give you a pep talk, but, what I have to say will wait. This house is part of a goal to get the house you REALLY want. Fix it up to your gorgeousness and sell. Hopefully buy one that you may want to settle in or do changes(Not as much as this house), depends what you and hubby agree on, you may want to sell again, THEN, get the final house at your touches and live happily ever after....NO WAIT!!!!!
WE STILL NEED THE: HE SAID, SHE SAID!!!!!!!! ;)
That's when you look at pictures such as these and say, 'I will do that to my house when we find it!!!'
Okay, enough of that.
I WANT TO OWN THE DISTRICT GEORGE V!!!!!!
The one thing I miss the most from my teenage years is rollerskating and this floor would be my own private rink!!!!! I would skate at least 4-5 hours a day like I use too. I still have by roller skates with pink wheels and pink stopper in front ready to roll. ABBA where are you? ELO, Hall and Oates, Player, Steve Miller Band..........
These place are gorgeous and would be great!!! Global News in Vancouver did this comparison with France concerning $22.6 million Cdn and what it would by here and over in France. They showed a property here that was worth the full amount. The property is in West Vancouver(This area is $$$$$) has a gorgeous view of Vancouver and the ocean, but, the house was condemned, so, you're paying for the land value only.
Then they showed 22 gorgeous ESTATES/CHATEAUS and asked which one was the price of this dump on a gorgeous lot in West Vancouver? It turned out that for the $22.6 million Cdn, you could buy ALL of the property in France that they showed, with a little left over for whatever.
I LIVE IN A CRAZY CITY!!!!!!!
Please be happy Suzan!!! If I could I would do anything in my power to make you laugh and say, 'To heck with it!! I'll finish this and that makes my dream closer!!!'
Love you girl!!!
Pam

Paris! The place I always love. The loft I adored most, the fireplace, the couch, the bed and the wood floor. Everything is under on one roof. Stylish, Paris!

As much as I love all your posts I Wanna Live There Wednesday is my favorite. Gives all of us a chance to see how the other half lives.
ReplyDeleteThey're all amazing, but I'll take the second one... depending on the arrondissement it's in. I'd have to be in the heart of the city for sure... near the Seine. Look at me being all fussy about where to live in Paris. lol. Oh, if I'm going to dream I might as well dream it exactly where I want it. Love, love, love all the details in that apartment! I'd definitely feel at home in that one. Thanks for the visit to Paris. I've been thinking a lot about it lately. It cheers me up during this freaking cold and snowy winter. Rester au chaud Suzan!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful spaces, but the second is my favorite!

Oh be still my heart. I can live in Paris too. Such a beautiful and romantic city. I love the older spaces. So full of detail and beauty and but the second is also my favorite.
ReplyDeleteWell, I could probably adjust to living in one of those...with time of course. I do want to run away...wanna go with me? I can't get over the space, the floors and the cost! :)

Hello, I really enjoyed seeing these, I forget that there is a whole big wonderful world out there. Paris even sounds wonderful; Just the name allows wonderful breads and coffee's and little cafes that bring life. That is why so many artist go there to be inspired!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Roxy
The V-I-E-W!!! Oh, my!
ReplyDeleteTHe one thing the French really know how to do with their apartments is let the light in! I just love those huge windows that you can actually walk through! Even small apartments usually have big windows and it makes such a difference!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeously beautiful! I love the way the French decorate and design their homes. I'd love to do this here! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Each fabulous in it's own way.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the one that had only one photo!
ReplyDeleteWOW! what wonderful apartments in such a beautiful city. I am kinda shocked that the rents were not higher. Love that last terrace.
ReplyDeleteTraci
How beautiful! Makes me want to go back to Paris!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow and wow! Magnifique! I' love the one with only one photo!
ReplyDeleteI know right? Can you imagine? Honey - I'm home !!!
