I WANNA live there Wednesday # 136

Good morning everyone !

I visited that fabulous site again - you know the same one as last week?
JJLOCATIONS

I'll move on next week - but now can I just mention that as soon I win the big one - I'm going to make a movie and I'm going to contact this company to scout my location for me !

This space may not be for everyone - but the colors in this home - oh the glorious colors !

It's so striking -
There's something about all that white with bold splashes of color
Of industrial mixed with farmhouse
Of old living seamlessly beside new

I just love it !
Every single detail - but especially that extra long bench
And the kitchen wooden chairs
And the hutch - And the plate rack on top of it
And the centerpiece on the table
And the candelabra in the left bottom corner
And that little bench holding magazines with the aqua legs
And the over sized glass doors
And the white floors.............
Other than that?  I could take the rest or leave it LOL

Oh my gosh - the skylights !

The outdoor spaces are very neutral - I suppose so that they don't compete with the vibrant colors of nature

Wow - is that something or what?

I can't " do " color properly - I'm good with greys - blacks - white - but color?  That takes a real
" eye ".
Something that Carol from ART & SAND - has down to a science as well - wish I could do it - because I instantly feel happy when I see it !
My kids - all 3 of them - embrace color as well - you can read about that here TRUE COLORS ( that's why I love them )

Have a wonderful day everyone
Hugs,
Me

  2. WOW! The color that catches my eye the most is the vibrant raspberry. It's in all the indoor photos. -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures

  3. This is my all-time favorite from all your Wednesday houses. I would not change anything. Love the primitive industrial modern feel. The distressed blue wall is fantastic!

  5. You had me at the kitchen with the open shelves, gorgeous windows and that long table with the bench. The rest of the house didn't thrill me as much.

  6. What an amazing way to work with white; usually it's white on white and this is bits of color shining through all over the place. It's done well without too much. Lovely.

  7. I love that shelving in the kitchen (the one with the bread box in front of it)! Um, Bruce, could we please do that to our kitchen? (I can see him rolling his eyes but I'm pinning it for future reference because the kitchen is going to get an update in the near future!)

  10. I don't like it. Your current house (and past house) is much nicer than that!
