Ok - I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say I think there's something seriously wrong with this woman....................always was btw.
The only way one of the love stories of the century could have ever happened is exactly the way it did,
he was stoned out of his mind.
It's very unkind of me I know - but c'mon - this is just so ridiculous - and that people actually stood around watching this " performance " is even more ridiculous to me.
How are they able to keep a straight face?
There'd be a puddle of pee on the floor beneath me ( because I KNOW I would have literally peed my pants laughing watching this in person - I almost did just watching it on you tube !!! )
It's what I would imagine a hippo mating call would sound like...............
But then again I'm an ignoramus when it comes to art - you can read about my take on art HERE
and see some of my creations such as this one
For your viewing pleasure I present YOKO ONO - the one and only ( Thank God )
You'd think she'd have gotten better with age - you know - practice and all that stuff - take a look at this one - OMG -
That's it - just thought I'd share some of the " talent " that's out there :)
If you feel the earth move under your feet
or the sky come tumblin' down
That's just John Lennon rolling over in his grave :)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone
It is the 'Emperor's New Clothes' all over again. I would have been laughing, and peeing, right along with you. No doubt she is laughing all the way to the bank.
ReplyDelete.Looks like the folks in the background are all laughing!!
ReplyDeleteAlong with the rest of us LOL
Deletexoxo
That's pathetic. I remember when John released the Double Fantasy album in 1980, and we were with friends, listening to it. Our friend had a poodle who would start howling the minute Yoko started singing. That says it all.
ReplyDeleteLOL - too funny !
DeleteI didn't watch the whole video (first one), Suzan, because my ears started to bleed. *giggle*
ReplyDeletegood lord, i could only stand 50 seconds of that performance, so i don't know what happened after that. i think you and i must agree on "art." :)
ReplyDeleteWHY?????? She sounds like she might be giving birth while dancing around a fire pit. Pee, indeed. Lots of it, too! LOL
ReplyDeleteur too funny! I also enjoyed reading everyone`s comments! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! This post made my day for sure! :)
I was thinking of offering a pair of tickets to a lucky winner LMHO !!!
DeleteXOXO
YIkes..................
ReplyDeleteThis is just wrong!!!!!!!
Kris
Well... my phone won't load the video but the comments here tell me everything I need to know. I've seen her a few times... Stop! Please.
ReplyDeleteTruly skilled and talented people are scoffed at and the outrageous and ridiculous are admired......I just don't get it.
ReplyDeleteNor do I Lori - not at all !
DeleteXOX
Always and forever - ugh!
ReplyDeleteLOL - you wouldn't pay to see that, I'm taking it?
DeleteI had to stop the video cuz she was summoning some demons in my dining room.
ReplyDeleteOh my godness, that was scareing. There is many ways to earn money for living lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend dear Suzan
Hugs
She makes a mockery of real artists. I think the audience was applauding the end of the agony. Can't believe that anyone really believes that she has talent. And I agree with you as far as she should have gotten better over the years.
ReplyDeleteReally??!! Had to stop it , it was upsetting my pup. Hard to believe anyone willfully standing and watching this all the way through.
ReplyDeleteWell... I'm going to quote Sister Wendy. Do you remember her? It's art, but not very good art. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that's the worst thing I've ever heard! Was John deaf? Anyway, I'd be peeing my pants, laying on the floor laughing had I been there!! She needs to stop!!
ReplyDeleteShe needs to stop and go away I think LOL - how atrocious - and people pay her to do this?
DeleteWTH is wrong with this picture?
( and I'm still laughing btw )
XOXO
She has never had talent. He was the only one that thought she did. She sounded like she was a whale in heat.
ReplyDeleteI think she's a witch actually - and she put some sort of spell on him !
DeleteA whale in heat - LMHO
XOX
This is nuts! As my dear old dad would say," She's a few bricks short of a load."
ReplyDeleteI agree - but she gets paid for this - as in DOLLARS - lots of them !
DeleteI'm going to practice all weekend I think LOL
XOX
Proof that the French are right about something: we have a saying that says that "being ridiculous doesn't kill you!"
ReplyDeleteLOL! Never knew she was that bad!
ReplyDeleteDon't hate me but I couldn't listen to her just looking at her face makes me ill. I mean it, I can't stomach her at all. I remember watching the Beatles special tribute that was on and seeing her ruined the whole thing for me. She was dancing around like an idiot.
ReplyDeleteCynthia
i had my grandson on my lap when i turned it on he started screaming...i calmed him down turned it back on and he started screaming again lmao...we were 45 seconds into it ugh what an atrocity xx
ReplyDeleteI bet your grandson't performance was a lot easier on the ear than Yoko's LMAO
DeleteXOXO
I think you're all being very harsh - she was obviously in a lot of pain in that first clip (maybe she has hemorrhoids?) but probably not as much as the audience!
ReplyDeleteLMHO !!!
DeleteShe must have had them for the last 50 years - she didn't sound any better in the second video !
XOXO
Oh my gosh! That is NOT talent, art, or anything but awful. I would have clapped my hands over my ears and started making fun of her! Good grief!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Suzan, I may never have sex again. At least not achieve the full "O"! Please delete if too racy, but it is the first thing that came to mind while listening to the itch who ended the Beatle magic.
ReplyDeleteYes, she was always off the wall wasn't she? It's too bad she and John had hooked up back then as I think she ruined a really good thing with the Beatles. Weird!
ReplyDeleteSOOOO bad! I never understood that relationship AT ALL. I am thinking Be-Witched! xo Diana
ReplyDelete2 words.....mentally unstable.....but God still loves her
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the nasty earworms you just gave us!!! Will our ears ever recover?
ReplyDeleteLOL
I think the earworms were massacred by the daggers I shoved into mine LOL
DeleteGodspeed with your recovery :)
XOXO
My iPad wont load it but I've heard her before, umm yeah she's something!
ReplyDeleteI always figured she must have just been really good in bed.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, Danni. My husband said the same thing in an accompanying video of her he found and e-mailed me.
ReplyDeleteI kind of liked it. I found it interesting, thought provoking. But then I'm a Jackson Pollock fan.
ReplyDeleteYou are a better woman than I am! I too like Jackson Pollock, actually I like a lot of modern art, particularly performance art, but this one defeated me... :-)
DeleteI don't get it - seriously I just don't get it!!!
DeleteShe's an experimental, avant garde artist...that means it's not going to be popular. But if everyone did what was popular, or easy to swallow, then what kind of world would this be? John clearly got it, and he was a talented artist in his own right. In fact, after being befuddled by her work at first, he found himself so taken by one of her pieces and her positivity in a world full of negativity, that from then on everything just clicked between them. I say more power to her, especially for never letting negativity or uninformed criticism get her down.
ReplyDeleteWell all I can think of is the famous line in When Harry Met Sally
Delete" I'll have what she's having " LOL
And by the way I think John was enormously talented - he was also on mind altering drugs during those years................
Anyway what do I know about art? Not too much.
But Mrs Positivity was pretty shitty with Julian ( his son from his first marriage )
I think she was more an opportunist - ( again - that's just my opinion )
Thanks for your input though !!!
I absolutely agree with you Penny that art needn't be popular or even easily accessible, in fact what I love about modern art is that it can be challenging and intellectually stimulating. I think one of the problems here is that this is totally out of context and I have no idea what she is trying to achieve or why? To be fair I know less than nothing about her art and I can't blame her for that!
Deletecan you just imagine how she expresses herself during lovemaking??? Wow. I hope the other person is as avant garde as she.
ReplyDeleteNo words. Just laughing!! lolol
ReplyDeletexoxo laurie
I was almost afraid to comment in case I won those tickets....Cheers to a good morning laugh Suzan!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't watch it all, it hurt my ears. Who ever thought she could sing?? Pathetic...
ReplyDeleteDebbie :)
OMG I have no words.
ReplyDeleteApparently, neither does she.
-andi
Art is truly subjective isn't it? What some consider wonderful leaves me scratching my head. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
So, then. You wrote a post just to make fun of and belittle someone because she has personally done you wrong somehow? Or why? And then you claim that Lennon is turning over in his grave because of what Yoko is doing? Here's a little story for you. Back in the day, when they both still lived in London and the art world was very dark, very negative, very critical (not unlike your post, actually), John went to a show put on by some crazy Japanses lady named Yoko. He looked at her stuff, which included climbing up a ladder and looking through a magnifying glass at a very small word on the ceiling, which said, "yes". He thought it was great, because instead of being dark, angry, critical, and hostile, it was positive and empowering. The opposite of your post, actually, and yet he liked it. You might think it's stupid, but he thought it was swell. Here's another little story for you. When I was in college, also a long, long time ago, I came across a book of her poetry, where she claimed that all of us that touches the earth most of the time are the soles of our feet, and that we therefor live largely in the sky. I always loved that. So, maybe whatever she's doing now isn't to your taste, but frankly instead of just pointing and laughing at someone you know nothing at all about, and using their dead husband to try to shame them (a husband that left the UK to get away from the press that wouldn't stop doing what you just did to her), you might just stop and think what you are doing for a moment.
ReplyDeleteOh, and just one more thing, that husband you claim is rolling in his grave because of what she's up to is the one she saw shot to death in front of her eyes. So flipping amusing, isn't it? So much to laugh about. Other peoples pain is just such a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteOk - I FIND IT HYSTERICAL - if you see talent there - good for you - by all means enjoy her performance.
DeleteBuy tickets - go support her somewhere other than this blog - easy solution, right?
AND there's thousands of articles out there on this matter - get busy - you've got a lot of rounds to make protecting this " performer ".
I can think she's talentless and still feel sadness for what she went through when she lost John.................how's that for multi tasking?
Now hurry up - go make the rounds.
What would she do without you?
Oh and thanks for sharing another example of her " ART " - sounds very inspiring.
This post was done in humor - don't like it? Move on.................I think you're going to be very busy for the next little while lol
You might want to read how she treated Julien Lennon - ( John's SON from his first marriage ) before you praise this lady on how positive a person she really is.
DeleteUgghhh................
