This week I came across photo's of Reese Witherspoon's and just had to share !
I'm not sure if the listing is an older one - or even if it sold - but it was listed at 7.25 million
All images found on FRONT DOOR
It's located in Ojai, California
It comes with 3 guest cottages - a swimming pool and stables - this is ranch living at it's absolute finest - I'm in love with everything about this estate - including all those gorgeous wood beams

It's nice, but I am not a "desert" person. I'm more of a "dessert" person.

People live like that? Does.not.compute! Goodness! Love the wood beams too and a stable! Yes, please.
ReplyDeleteThis is her former home. It was restored by Kathryn Ireland a number of years ago. It is called the Libbey Ranch and was designed by Wallace Neff.

Love that tiny single person balcony on the second floor near the fireplace. Really, though...who need this much?
ReplyDeleteIt sure is beautiful! I really like the slate patio and wicker furniture and table on it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! What a way to live.

Kathy Ireland's decor was so amazing...this looks nothing like it did when she had it. In fact, this home was featured in numerous design books and magazine spreads when she owned it. Google it for yoursel, it was beautiful...I have to admit, when I first saw these pictures, even though I recognized it as Reese Witherspoon's place, it felt a little sad in comparison to its former glory. btw, Ojai isn't in the Desert. It's near Santa Barbara. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to google it then !
DeleteThanks Penny
I never said Ojai was in the desert?
XOXO
Amazing house. Dream on..... And here I am so happy with 6 inch beams ; ). Patty

And dream we do Catherine LOL
DeleteThank YOU for visiting
Hugs,
Ojai is great. We visit regularly. For food & wine. Some great thrift shops and craft beers. I've stayed at the Ojai Valley Inn and lots of artists live in the area. Up in the mountains but close to the Pacific Ocean. And a hop, skip & a jump from Santa Barbara. And Montecito. Home to many stars. if you are ever in the area get to Summerland. One block long but great antiques. And more wine.
