I believe in Pink

“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”   Audrey Hepburn

I was supposed to post my pink dresser today - but it's not quite finished - because if truth be known
I'm kind of burnt out - just need a day without a paintbrush in my hand ( it happens from time to time - not often but definitely from time to time )
BUT I promised you PINK - and so here you go - for those of you that like pink that is  - for those of you that hate it you have permission to leave ( but  you have to come back tomorrow ) pretty in pink please?

If you want to pin any of these please go to my pink board HERE ...................I copied and pasted each photo because that's the only way I know how to do it ( HELP if you know of a way to incorporate pins )

Maybe I shouldn't have posted this - it's going to make my little pink makeover pretty lame in comparison!

Hugs,

  1. I adore pink! I actually wanted to buy a pink fridge but $2500 for a fridge smaller than the perfectly good one I have was not going to be a wise investment. However it was 2 kids ago when I was a wonderful working women and I walked past that fridge every day for 2 months before finally saying nope better ways to spend my cash. Some days I think I just should have!

  2. I don't have pink in this house (I did in my 2nd one, and my poor husband said it was like sleeping in a 'ho house,) but I have a LOT in my wardrobe. I love that pale pink settee with the chippy blue trunk!

  8. Good Afternoon Suzan, A little bit of pink is good for a girl. I love the French bed in the first photo.... no, that is not a good enough word, I LOVE IT!
I hope you are putting your feet up and enjoying a cup of coffee.....leave that paintbrush alone for today.
    Best Wishes

  9. I believe in pink too!!! I have vowed to sneak some pink in every room in the house. It just makes me feel good. I have a hot pink ceiling in my craft room that I absolutely adore. Love every one of those pics, but especially the distressed hot pink doors. I have to try that on something. Hope you enjoy a bit of a day off!

  10. I adore pink, but, at least for me, it is very, very difficult to pull off in home decor without it looking cheesy. It's possible, I've seen it! (Your photos here for instance.) My bedroom was once pink for about 4 days, then my kitchen was pink for about 2 months. blech. Looked like a ho house (thanks Kirby!). I'll keep trying.

  11. I LOVE that last image, Suzan! And that is probably the only shade of pink that I like - a muted, low-key, foggy English day pink.

  13. I'm not a fan of pink but, who knows, that could change at any moment. Any body who does want a pink fridge can have it by painting theirs. I've done it twice, once on a rental property fridge, and it holds up great! Mel can have her pink fridge and keep her money!

I'd love the little pink fridge in my sewing room, too.

  16. You've shown some pretty pinks! Love the quote from Audrey. She was not just pretty outside but inside!
I'm giggled at your comment about getting in trouble posting lyrics on your blog. If you noticed, on this song by ZZ Top, I left out the nasty words!:)
Thanks for popping in to see me.

  18. I love all of your pink images. When I had my daughter I couldn't wait to dress her in pink outfits and fill her room with pink accessories. Now that she's older she confessed to me that she doesn't like pink. Oh my, what did I do!!!

  21. I love pink on anything except a house. The one next door to my parents was Pepto Bismal pink and the lady was as mean as a witch.

  22. OMG! Pink! And you even found two houses with pink front doors - my family home always had a pink front door and gutters. Until aluminum became all the rage in the 60's and no painting, then the gutters went white, but my Mom kept the door pink. I'm heading straight to your pink board. Thanks, I needed pink today as its quite grey here. Patty/BC

  28. I'm wearing hot pink lipstick right now! {Yes, at 11:15 p.m. Sometimes I wear it around the house in my pajamas so I don't feel so much like Snuffalupagus! LOL!) My husband is NOT a fan, though. :( Anyway, back to your post...I would LOVE to sleep on that bed in the first picture. I see so many pretty things I want!!

Now she only has the pink wall oven left. I have NO pink in this house but I love it. I could build a room around that pink sofa you showed.....LOVE!!
