I WANNA live there Wednesday # 80

Good morning everyone !

Well we're back in Westmount ( the neighborhood we just moved from )
You can take the girl out of the city but you just can't take the city out of the girl -

This week I thought I'd showcase an apartment for sell there - turn of the century apartment of course :)

Here we go !!!

645,000
3 beds 1 bath
Built in 1906
Realtor: PIERRE BRUNET & ANNE GASCON

I love how these apartments have the same architectural details as the homes of that period - the moldings on this ceiling are just beautiful !!!

Beautiful Bay Window

The entry and hall just tug at my heart - LOVE !!!  The current house we're in is the probably the first time in my life I have NOT had a long narrow hallway - which are very common in Montreal city flats.............

I know apartment living isn't for everyone - but this one?  Steps away from beautiful boutiques and  restaurants?  I could - I definitely could !!!

Have a wonderful Wednesday all ♥

Hugs,

Party time !!!

  1. Yes, I could live there. I too love the mouldings, and the floors are beautiful.. The exterior of the building is nice too.

  2. I always love these apartments. Some day I could do the apartment living without problem. And when I do I hope it is one of these beauties. :) We have some similar ones here in Quebec city.

  3. How charming! For a small apartment it packs a big WOW! Love that it is within walking distance to shopping and eating. So pretty and the neighborhood so charming.

  6. That kitchen is nice! I like dark colors like that one has... I redid my cupboards dark like that and I love it.

  7. I prefer lighter wood in the kitchen, but I like the design. And of course I love all of the ceiling detail.

  8. Usually I love what you choose, but this one doesn't float my boat. Too American,

  9. I like it Suzan. It just needs some of your paint colors and decor style. I like the bones of it though. It would be nice to be in walking distance from the restaurants and shops. You miss your old house don't you? ((hugs))

  10. That is a beauty, Suzan. It just needs a bit of jazzing up, I think. I like part of it-but not the whole package this time. Hope you are doing well- xo Diana

  11. I could easily move into an apartment that looked like this one! Actually, having lived in my house for roughly 7 years, I am ready to move back to an apartment as soon as the market improves enough that I can get my money outta this place. Never again.

  12. I think it's got great bones, and I could live there. One thing I wasn't crazy about was the dark kitchen. When I move in, will you paint the cabinets for me? :)

Due to a large amount of spam ( that I'm tired of going back to posts and deleting ) I'll be using comment moderation from now on !!!
Can I beat these spammers at their own game? Probably not - but I'm going
to try my damnedest !!!
