COUNTRY DRESSER AND END TABLE MAKEOVER !
I'm tired !
Too tired to write up a proper post even - so I'll just bombard you with photos ( that's easier than actually thinking
I've had a paint brush in my hand every day now for 3 weeks..................
The knobs look like different colors
They're not ( just lighting ) !
2 dressers
2 mirrors
2 end tables
1 armoire
1 mantel
Done and delivered
That's NOT including a headboard and sewing table I redid for my daughter somewhere in the middle of those 3 weeks :)
Now on to the 5 pieces that are sitting in the porch waiting to be done :)
Have a wonderful day everyone
HAPPY CANADA DAY TO MY FELLOW CANUCKS !
And CONGRATS to the American Ladies Soccer Team - Go Go Go !
Hugs,
( not very tight ones because of all the waxing and buffing I've been doing - but hugs none the less ! )

Too cute! The smaller one looks like a smiley face! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
ReplyDeleteBeautiful transformations as usual. Happy Canada Day!
ReplyDeleteHard at work! "No rest for the wicked", as my mom always said, whenever I'd tell her how busy I was. >;^) Happy Canada Day to you - I hope you're taking a break today (or a few days, for that matter!)
ReplyDeleteAnd apparently I'm wicked to the bone Rita LOL !!!
DeleteThanks for the Canada Day wishes - it's pouring rain so I'm painting instead of celebrating ( or maybe that's just the way I celebrate at this point !!! )
XOXO
You have been really, really busy, Suzan. I sure hope you got paid a handsome sum for all that hard work. You did a beautiful job on all those pieces! Plus, I am sure, an equally good job on the pieces you didn't show us!
ReplyDeleteI have kids here the rest of the week so you know what I am getting done...yeah...ZERO most likely. Have a great Wednesday. xo Diana
Nice job Suzan. I did some chairs this week. Wish you were closer I would have you do them. My chairs need repair. They are Queen Ann with wicker backs. I have to find someone to repair them. Don't work too hard Happy Canada Day xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Thel !
DeleteIt's pouring rain here - are you dry in your part of Quebec?
Good luck with the wicker damage - I know they sell kits to repair them ( but it looks way beyond any furniture skills I have - which only include a paint brush lol )
Happy Canada day to you too !
xox
Sunny 25 deg. here today. The wicker is ok on my chairs. The seats have cushions, that I covered, but under needs gluing. (the frame under the cushions.) Hopefully, I will find someone who can do it. Take care. xo
DeleteFingers crossed for you !
DeleteEnjoy the sun :)
Love it !!!! Work well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pati !!!
Deletexoxo
Happy Canada Day!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day to you! Enjoy. Your pieces are great re loves. Have a great rest of the week.

Happy Canada Day. You guys have to beat us to everything! What do Canadians use to decorate for the day?
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day to all our neighbors up north.
ReplyDeleteSuzan, the furniture pieces are Gorgeous and the first thing that caught my eye was the small end table looking like a smiley face as well; with the 2 knobs up above and the bottom drawer pull, looks like it's smiling back at you.
I also wish you lived closer so that you could do some pieces for me. Items that I should do that I keep putting off.
Have a wonderful and enjoyable weekend.
Now, go get yourself a glass of wine, or 2 , or 3; a good book and relax for a spell.
Bravo and O Canada <3
ReplyDeleteSuzan you are so ambitious. You have done a beautiful job, can't wait to see the rest. Take some time for yourself. Hugs, Jo
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy Happy Canadiadian Day! Lovely job you doing there! We live about an hour south of the Canadian border ,British Canadian. There are lots of BC plates on the freeway here! Hope you have a wonderful time and can take it partially easy!
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much Mary Anne !
DeleteWe live an hour north of the border - but on the other side of the country ( or we could meet halfway for coffee !!! )
XOXO
It's so warm here, how about a Dairy Queen Blizzard!
DeleteI swear the night table is smiling! So beautiful! But poor you, I can only imagine how tired you are from hanging onto a paint brush not to mention all that waxing. Hugs to you, I hope John has been pouring the wine and Soda has been giving cuddle breaks. I will soon have 8 window frames to repaint on the interior due to new windows being installed. They are a very welcome sight though it was so foggy tonight we couldn't see anything out of them. xo Patty
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Beautiful! I'm sure your client's looooooved it! Can you share how you seal the tops of your dressers?
ReplyDeleteWow, you have been busy! Hope the weather smartens up for you guys in the East (we're baking over here in the west) so you can take some time to relax by your beautiful pool. Your client must've been thrilled with their furniture!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Why I'd pluck down money in any furniture showroom for these beauties. You deserve to relax a bit and give those arms a break. Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patti
You really brighten up your home when you paint with this soft white color. Take care of yourself sweet friend! Don't work too hard. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteMy hand hurts just thinking about all that painting. Great job! The first little end table looks like it's smiling:-) Thanks for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.
ReplyDeleteWow! Love these pieces! You do good work....
